Are you allowed 3 overage players then?!

I always thought 3 is the limit?

I thought it was 2, clearly not!

You are allowed one "overage" goalkeeper and three "overage" outfield players.

So up to 4 in total.

Ah cheers for that. You would think we would win with that team out.

Do wonder whether Mayuka is still even at the club though !

@SouthamptonFC: GOAL: Saints U21s 0-1 ARSENAL U21S (Kyle Ebecilio 13) #saintsfcu21 #bu21pl

@SouthamptonFC: 13: Saints concede possession in midfield and Yennaris plays in Ebecilio to fire past Gazzaniga for one-nil. #saintsfcu21 #bu21pl

I went along tonight. Never been so cold at a game of football in my life, painful. Not a great game, typical Saints, lots of possession, no cutting edge, two defensive mistakes for the goals. Forren doesn't look anywhere near good enough yet. De Ridder very lively with no end product.

I´m not sure though but as you say, apparently.

International U21 has 3 as the limit (in the Olympics for example)

Except the Olympics is U23 not U21. PL has its own rules for number of overage players, it is 3 plus an overage keeper.

Any more word on how Forren played? I saw the Liverpool game and... wasn't blown away.
Slow, ponderous on the ball, gave the ball away often when trying to play the long pass (not a huge amount to aim for to be honest). Reads the game ok, but doesn't look particularly strong or powerful. Could say on the positive side quite calm in possession, but that meant he got caught on the ball a few times. Strange signing.

Maybe they sent us a false Forren imposter and kept the real one?

After all, if we can be sold horse as beef , presumably we can be sold a donkey as a CB ?
