Saint_clark Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Will Guly play? Saints to win and Guly to score 1st = 19/1 easy money? 19/1??? Is that all??? Jesus.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 19/1??? Is that all??? Jesus. I got a funny feeling this might happen
ottery st mary Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Saints to win 3-1........ Ramirez, Lambert and Puncheon. COYS:) Saints side for me. Boruc Clyne Fonte Yoshida Shaw Morgan Cork Puncheon Ramirez Lallana Lambert If all fit........ Subs Davis, Davis, Jos, Forren, Jay Rod, Guly and JWP. COYS
Roger Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Lallana needs to be benched. The 3 should be Punch, Ramirez and j rod IMO.
corky morris Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Leaving in half an hour. Woke up with a really bad feeling about today. Not normally so negative. Think we will lose 3-0. Really hope I am wrong.............
Window Cleaner Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 19/1??? Is that all??? Jesus. for a bloke who hardly plays and hasn't scored since the Great Fire of London those are remarkably stingy odds.
rshephard3 Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 ^swap Lallana and Gaston for J Rod and Davis imo Agree. It's about time to play our best performers, not our flair names that other clubs fans know of but who flatter to deceive. ---------Morgan---Cork----------- -----------------Davis--------------- -----Punch---------------JRod---- ----------------Lambert------------- Our flair players have hardly been setting the world alight and if we play like we have the past few weeks we will lose to Pool and Chelsea which we can't really afford to do. Still can't wait for the game, COYR
Lets B Avenue Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 for a bloke who hardly plays and hasn't scored since the Great Fire of London those are remarkably stingy odds. Probably because the idiot has made it up.
Seaford Saint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 That's the team I'd pick..... Probably because the idiot has made it up. Agree. Barry Sanchez Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Ramirez has been decent last two games. Really? Must of missed that, in fact how much time did the weakling spend on the pitch?
ibizasaint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 If he has a good game will you come on here and admit you were wrong and that he may have potential?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Probably because the idiot has made it up. Have a look at Sky bet and then pm me with your apology
Roger Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Really? Must of missed that, in fact how much time did the weakling spend on the pitch? Was our beat creative player last week and in both matches that he went off we got much worse. Read the rest of the forum you're find people saying same thing.

Read the rest of the forum you're find people saying same thing. I think thats more down to Tino's subs than Ramirez contribution. While Ramirez is on the pitch there is hope/potential that something could happen. Swap him with JWP or Guly and that hope/potential dies instantly.
trousers Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Probably because the idiot has made it up. I've just heard it on 5live so can confirm its true
RobM Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Will Guly play? Saints to win and Guly to score 1st = 19/1 easy money? I'm almost tempted to stick a quid on this each week, just for that one day your joke becomes reality!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 I'm almost tempted to stick a quid on this each week, just for that one day your joke becomes reality! It will happen one day gotta be in it to win it
Saint_clark Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 I've just heard it on 5live so can confirm its true Giving odds that bad, they must be racist or something.

KelvinsRightGlove Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Hope to be wrong, but can't see us not losing this. Pains me to say it, but Liverpool are starting to look a really good side. Realistically it's not a game we are expecting to win, but I still imagine this place is going to go into meltdown later. Probs avoid it if I'm honest. G'warn lads, please prove me wrong. The one mitigating factor, under MP we have looked better against the 'bigger' teams, Everton, Utd, City, than the supposedly lesser teams, QPR et al.

The one mitigating factor, under MP we have looked better against the 'bigger' teams, Everton, Utd, City, than the supposedly lesser teams, QPR et al. I don't think it's the opposition's size - we are just better against tems that play on the front foot as it gives our forward players more space to operate in. We struggle to break down sides who defend in numbers because we don't have any pace. Today gives us more chance going forward ... but we'll have times under pressure I'd imagine. Expecting a tough afternoon and probable defeat, but wouldn't be too surprised if we get something. Here's hoping.
Whitey Grandad Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Where is everybody? I'm on the bus and there are normally loads of Saints shirts, today nobody. Have I go the wrong day?
goodymatt Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 @BBCSport: Liverpool team v Southampton: Jones, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Skrtel, Allen, Gerrard, Downing, Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez. #lfc
goodymatt Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 @SouthamptonFC: Southampton team: Boruc, Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Cork, Lallana ©, Ramírez, Rodriguez, Lambert. #saintsfc

Convict Colony Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Tres attacking non ? I expect to see our front 4 all swapping positions and sides surely ?
VectisSaint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Where is everybody? I'm on the bus and there are normally loads of Saints shirts, today nobody. Have I go the wrong day? Sat at home Whitey because I couldn't get tickets because its sold out apparently.
Convict Colony Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Thought I better put the bench up then - Southampton substitutes: K. Davis (GK), Fonte, S. Davis, Forren, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Puncheon
CWD Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Two CBs and no striker on the bench is a bit odd. Worried about Sturridge and Suarez v Hooiveld...
VectisSaint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Two CBs and no striker on the bench is a bit odd. Worried about Sturridge and Suarez v Hooiveld... 2 CBs is a bit odd, but Guly is a striker, and he is the only other one we have now apart from the mythical Mayuka. Would have preferred Fonte and Yoshi, but guessing that Fonet is not 100%.
NewYorkSaint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Interesting that Hooiveld and Yoshida still favored over Fonte (and Forren). Great to see both Clyne and Shaw playing again. It's a strong team. But if no goals for us by 60th minute, we need Punch on! Fingers crossed this could be the day Ramirez truly shines.
Convict Colony Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 If liverpool continue their buying policy they will give the 7 dwarfs a run for their money. Don't think any of the front 3 are too fast so will be interesting, doesnt suarez become an inside right forward when sturridge plays so he is against luke. Should be good
Olallana Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 I think it´s fair to Jos cause I think he was one of our best player last week. But with that said it also was against a side that plays to his strengths...

sfc1976 Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Mayuka must just need a little more time to 'adapt' to English football that's all!
patred44 Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 He's got to be kidding if he prefers Hoolivelt over Fonte..Suarez will have a field day
Convict Colony Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 They may not be quick but I'm sure they're quicker than Yoshida and Hooiveld. Against Jos it will be like warthogs being marked by a giraffe, hahaha yeah fair point but they aren't going to get the ball as our forwards and midfield will press making them hoof it up field where the giraffe comes into his own. Just to round off the animal usage, Morgan is our Honeybadger, runs all day, fearless and just doesn't give a f*ck. I am the Attenborough of saintsweb
captainchris Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Tres attacking non ? I expect to see our front 4 all swapping positions and sides surely ? I would rather hope our front four do not 'swap sides' or we are in deep do da! !!! ;-)
UpweySaint Posted 16 March, 2013 Posted 16 March, 2013 Bizarre why Punch has fell out of favour, hate to say it but AL hasnt been great since his return, could do with a good game from him today!
