Anyone mind giving a quick overview of first half? Stuck up a freezing cold mountain with snow coming sideways, so missing it.

Thanks.

We only have happy clappers and wrist slitters here. Nobody will know what to say when it's 0-0 ;)

50/50 sums it up so far inho

Norwich should have been given a penalty and we were on top for most parts. Lack of good options in last 3rd. Norwich almost score twice.

Yoshi at right back may cost us

Poor first half, all possession with no threat just like last week. If Norwich had a player with a bit of pace up front like QPR we'd probably be losing this right now.

Disagree. Have had a few decent chances and forced a couple of top saves. On this pitch in these conditions we wont look like Barca, it will be scrappy. I'd say we've had the better of the half and just need to keep doing what we're doing. But of course fair point we do seem to have a habit of being v impressive in games but not actually picking up the wins.

Saints are dominant in midfield but the conditions seem to be making it difficult to fire in a winner. Probably going to be a win by one goal ... but could go either way despite Saints dominance.

Defence OK, but Yoshida clearly finding it difficult to adapt to the conditions and is Saints weak link at the moment.

It's just frustrating. The have forced a couple of decent saves you are right, but its just frustrating that so often the final ball is so poor, just feel we aren't creating the number of chances we ought to be given the possession we have had in recent games.

I thought Cortese bought Ramirez so he could deliver the quality final ball?

With the conditions I would be tempted to take off Gaston bring on Punch, drop Rickie back and leave J-rod up top for that bit of pace

He put in a superb whipped corner in. On the whole his set pieces have been poor today. Is our main threat at the moment though looking very lively.

Puncheon would have scored

He would have done, I just don't get what AL has done to deserve walking in against an in form Punch

So Gaston whipped in a corner hey?

He doesn't look back to his best still. Would play Puncheon myself...

Think this settles the Al vs JRod debate for now at least - and yes I know both are playing today, but for LM role it has to be JRod without a doubt.
