It's all about functional fitness Turkish (none of that "ohh I've got massive muscles so I MUST be hard"...when actually they aint); A friend of mine is quite the Cross fit addict (he kinda works bits of it into our martial arts classes too....I've seen him do a full cartwheel on the spot) I mean, if I had to do just the two exercises at the gym they would be chin ups and press ups.....Cross Fit does a lot of these.

Reebok ads on this all the time.

Also back last year when the F1 was in Scabi Dhabi they had a whole cross fit challenge featuring Lewis Hamilton.

He got beat. ;)

No no no not by me duh. But by one of our own Dubai Saints massive. She & her buddies take it all WELL seriously.

I am allowed to officially say she is very fit.

And no, she's one of our family now so you ain't getting a rule 1

Hey I've been doing it since Feb and it kicks your a*se.

I average about 1000 cals burnt in 1hr, in the hour you warm up (usually 1km run then some dynamic activities, lunges, cartwheels etc), then its technique for 30mins, then the WOD which is where the pain is.

Trust me you feel awesome after but during you are just surviving.

Work is interferring a bit for me at the moment so been lax the last week, however am back onto it on Monday so if this thread is still going I wil post what I did and my polar heart rate stats if anyone is interested.

Highest cals burn't in 1 hr was 1300 !!!! I am not fit either but have been very before so I expect 3-4 weeks of pain before I stop being sh*t and become average.
