Dig Dig Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Are we missing Tadanari Lee since his loan to Tokyo? Seems like the team morale may have dropped a little since he left and I know JWP for one is missing his friend. Can't help but to think that he would have made the difference on Saturday if he were hanging off Samba's massive shoulder. Failing that, what about Billy Sharp?!
Saint Garrett Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 some very odd threads have appeared on here recently.
110_Persaint Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Billy's been missed all season never mind Saturday. Still not convinced by Jayrod and IMO he's not fit to tie Billy's laces. Lee on the other hand? Let's just say we wouldn't miss him if he disappeared off the face of the earth...

sotonist Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Failing that, what about Billy Sharp?! AL hasn't had a bath since he left.

RonManager Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Watched him play for Tokyo FC on the weekend, he was excellent.

Jay rod is not to fit to lace Billys boots? on what grounds?. I do not get the bring Billy back brigade, he was bought to do a job -help get us promoted (he scored some vital goals which acheived this). As for Jay Rod I admit that I was sceptical at the start of the season but he has come on a lot, brings a lot of energy into the side and works his balls off

Dig Dig Posted 5 March, 2013 Author Posted 5 March, 2013 Watched him play for Tokyo FC on the weekend, he was excellent. I wonder if we can re-call him? It would be like a new signing for us.

Baldbarbarian Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Sadly nice guy though he is Sharp has not been able to reproduce that form for Forest and is now clinging to a spot on the sub's bench. exactly, not knocking Sharp as he was great when he was here. We will all remember the brace against the Skates for a long time but Premiership quality?, I would argue not
laughba Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Tadanari Lee has a magnificent work rate, and therefore fits pocchetino's style.. Why he was loaned out is beyond me.
Appy Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Tadanari Lee has a magnificent work rate, and therefore fits pocchetino's style.. Why he was loaned out is beyond me. Because he isn't good enough.
paris Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Apparently Adkins back soon as he's only on leave ....
Saint Charlie Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Next thing someone will post a thread saying we miss Chaplow's 'bite' in midfield. We really do have some loonies in our fanbase. Lee is poor. Sharp is never in Forest's starting XI but all of a sudden they are saviours.

Sharp is never in Forest's starting XI but all of a sudden they are saviours. This. Lee is crap. It was odd enough that because he was injured a lot last year then suddenly he'd be amazing in the prem. now as he has gone on loan to a very poor level, he's someone we're missing?!? Crazy.

Barry Sanchez Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Lee alas like many of our recent signings have been absolute gash.
Andre Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 haha, what a thread. stop bringing up sharp, i really miss him.
Badger Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Next thing someone will post a thread saying we miss Chaplow's 'bite' in midfield. And we miss Hammond's drive and captaincy in midfield...
SuperMikey Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 I still don't think we've ever recovered from losing the keen vision of Lloyd James.
Katalinic Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 I still don't think we've ever recovered from losing the keen vision of Lloyd James. He ran like a seal with legs.
Badger Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Wayne Thomas might have stopped that little f^cker Remy in his tracks on the way to their first goal on Saturday, make no mistake.
the saint in winchester Posted 5 March, 2013 Posted 5 March, 2013 Wayne Thomas might have stopped that little f^cker Remy in his tracks on the way to their first goal on Saturday, make no mistake. John McGrath would NOT have run back to the goal line, make no mistake. On the OP's hypothesis, yes, I believe we are. He would have been perfect in our 4-2-3-1 setup on the left of the 3. I hope he comes back and proves me right.
Baldbarbarian Posted 6 March, 2013 Posted 6 March, 2013 Apparently Adkins back soon as he's only on leave .... I'll have some of what you are smoking
This Charming Man Posted 6 March, 2013 Posted 6 March, 2013 Tadanari Lee has a magnificent work rate, and therefore fits pocchetino's style.. Why he was loaned out is beyond me. Brett Ormerod has a terrific work rate. Let's get him back as well. In fact, any player that runs around a lot (regardless of ability) will do. That Mo Farah could do a job.

That Mo Farah could do a job. Not a bad idea that, a team full of marathon runner, they could run and hassle and close all day. They be massive fans favourites for their work rate and if they took pot shots everytime they got within 40 yards of goal we'd have more shots than we do now so olallana will think we are an amazing team.
Saint Charlie Posted 6 March, 2013 Posted 6 March, 2013 Not suprised Dig Dig has gone quiet. Terrible thread.
Saint_Randell Posted 6 March, 2013 Posted 6 March, 2013 Not suprised Dig Dig has gone quiet. Terrible thread. You have all nibbled massively on this thread. Very poor
david in sweden Posted 6 March, 2013 Posted 6 March, 2013 I wonder if we can re-call him? It would be like a new signing for us. OK .If ?..but who would you drop to play him instead?
david in sweden Posted 6 March, 2013 Posted 6 March, 2013 Are we missing Tadanari Lee since his loan to Tokyo? I really enjoyed seeing Lee play - for those few games last season - but we managed promotion without him, and how can one say that we miss him when he hasn't played for a year.?
Saint Charlie Posted 6 March, 2013 Posted 6 March, 2013 You have all nibbled massively on this thread. Very poor Que?
Saint_Randell Posted 7 March, 2013 Posted 7 March, 2013 Que? Basically Dig Dig has thrown the bait, (like you usually do) looking for a reaction and everyone has 'nibbled'.
110_Persaint Posted 7 March, 2013 Posted 7 March, 2013 Basically Dig Dig has thrown the bait, (like you usually do) looking for a reaction and everyone has 'nibbled'. Is it just me or has it lately been the case here that everybody is accusing everybody of being a WUM/troll?

harvey Posted 23 March, 2013 Posted 23 March, 2013 We should have kept him as far as I'm concerned.......I think he would have been an asset playing in a better team like we have atm.
Appy Posted 23 March, 2013 Posted 23 March, 2013 We should have kept him as far as I'm concerned.......I think he would have been an asset playing in a better team like we have atm. Why? He wouldn't even make the bench, that was when we were rubbish at the start of the season too.
pap Posted 23 March, 2013 Posted 23 March, 2013 Why? He wouldn't even make the bench, that was when we were rubbish at the start of the season too. Wasn't his work permit approved because he was an exceptional talent?
Turkish Posted 23 March, 2013 Posted 23 March, 2013 Wasn't his work permit approved because he was an exceptional talent? It was approved because we'd have said they were being racist if they declined it.
Appy Posted 23 March, 2013 Posted 23 March, 2013 Wasn't his work permit approved because he was an exceptional talent? Yeah, David Blunkett approved it.
VectisSaint Posted 23 March, 2013 Posted 23 March, 2013 (edited) Why? He wouldn't even make the bench, that was when we were rubbish at the start of the season too. Strange then that he was on the bench 5 times under MP/NA this year before his loan happened. Still, whenever Chung is the subject of any threads we get used to the slagging, and I notice that our delightful forum troll has piped up, what a surprise. Edited 23 March, 2013 by VectisSaint He was on the bench more times than I thought

Be honest, you've never actually come out and said why.
