Forren looks good with the ball at his feet but he got completely done by a simple threaded through ball just before he scored, looked like he was running through treacle but fortunately the striker missed the one-on-one. Should fit right in with the first team back 4...

They are doing a good job, its on Sky sports under liverpool TV if anyone fancies a better quality image. Free to watch with sky sports.

They are saying that Shaw Mk. II "looks a player2 :D

Have to say that Rowe, seidi, JWP and chambers look the part. Forren clearly a step above this lot but that is expected.

JojJo Shelvey is non existent.... doesn't he have an england cap? If so what a joke.

Saw the last 6 minutes.

Forren looks like he should be working at Kwikfit! As a poster above said, he don't look an athlete.

Mark Wright has filled out.

why is Evans wearing trainers and a suit?

The presenter looks a dirty ******.

Anyone have any views on the game for me?!!

Saints pretty much dominated the first half and deserved to be 1-0 up going in at HT. Some good passing and nice fluidity with the side - you can tell that we've got the players at all levels to play in the same style as the first team. Liverpool had a fair bit of quality in their squad - Suso and their goalscorer (Adjoran?) were very dangerous and good on the ball. Play of the game being a swift Liverpool counter-attack and Suso sliding through a perfect through ball for their winger to run onto, only for him to fluff his chance.

You could tell we were tired by the 75th minute or so, Liverpool had all the possession for a large chunk of the second half and missed quite a few gilt-edged chances. They held onto the ball and made us sit deep and chase them about.

Bright sparks for us were Gazzaniga (made some good saves, good distribution), Targett (great going forward, little sloppy at the back sometimes), Rowe (fantastic deliveries from set-pieces), Seidi (looked dangerous cutting in off the wing) and McQueen (did well as a sub, gave us a bit of energy and zip and tracked back well from the wing). Sinclair needs to learn to look for his teammates positions when he's in the final third so he can either pick out a pass or have a pop at goal if there are no other options.

Forren looked good if a little rusty, big presence in the air and read the game well, but got undone once or twice with a ball slipped in behind him. Needs a pacy player alongside to cover him really. Draw was probably a fair result.

Good summing up...... Forren read the game well but as one or two said - he looks very short of PACE ...... Rowe looked very good and played with intelligence. Taggart caught the eye as did McQueen but not in a first team way though Taggart was easily as good as Fox however that's not really a compliment is it..... A good watch and deserved draw.... a little worrying we ran out of puff........

Seidi had a good first 10 or 15 minutes, got clobbered by Coady and after that was utterly dreadful.

Rowe was very good first half, quieter in the second. Reminds me of a young Danny Wallace. Robinson was good in the first half too. Can't tell enough about Forren to see if he'll step up well; I'd hoped he be taller than he is, hardly a dominating centre half. Jake Sinclair seemed a little lost up front on his own, but livelier when he had the ball at the feet running at players. JWP was fairly quiet.
