Tell me if I'm wrong.

I'm a 6), there really are so few posters and so few threads that maybe we ought to consider doing something differently? I recall the early Ugly where they mixed the football, music, politics, and fashion threads all on the same page. Guess that was just the next step on from fanzines and was of it's time? Could that work again?

The only criticism I had back then was that it lacked a bit of organisation and it was sometimes a little hard to filter out the genres you didn't want to read about, meaning the footy often got lost amidst discussions of the best sauce to go in fishfinger sandwiches.

110_Persaint Posted 3 March, 2013 Posted 3 March, 2013 IMO: 1) honest posters with usually great insight and a respectful demeanor: colinjb, s-clarke, charlie, dubai, chez, crab lungs, etc. 2) honest posters hated for their "negativity" when in fact they're only being realistic: alpine, miltonroader, dibden, dalek, etc. 3) posters who come here to mouth off about whatever tickles their fancy, usually like to pick arguments: dig dig, appy, garrett, badger, for_heaven's, supermikey, etc. 4) posters who come here to have fun, not too fussed about serious saints talk: bearsy, tokyo, glasgow, turkish, spud, etc. 5) those who think their opinion is of great importance and believe themselves untouchable: MLG, delldays, itchen_dan, Mr X, trousers, etc. 6) harmless posters who quietly give their opinion whilst passing under the radar: 70's_mike, ART, dr who, ottery, pingwing, whitey etc. 7) flat out trolls: sotonjoe, hypochondriac, vectis, flyer, toresf, etc.

Are they stuck in some gloomy room glued to their keyboards? Is it a question of quantity over quality?

Not that difficult it is, have a quick look in the morning, maybe make two or three posts then, same at lunchtime with 4 or 5 posts then have a look on at night when the missus is watching the soaps or some other sh*te. Sometimes when i'm working from home i'll have TSW open all day so i can get into proper rucks but that's only once a week or so.This post has probably taken about 30 seconds to type, so you're talking about 10 minutes to type your 20 posts a day, hardly something to be amazed by, unless of you course you dont need a normal life.
