Lallana's seasonal pattern

This may just be me but for the last few seasons I have seen how AL blasts out of the blocks in the first 6-8 weeks and looks like an England player, then his form dips a tad, followed by an injury Nov/Dec/Jan time. Once back it takes him a while to get back to his best, then he finishes strongly. Could be weather related?

He has come back from injury too soon, not for the first time.

I don't underatdn why we changed a formation and line-up which slaughtered the team currently in second in the league myself...

He hasnt really come back too soon though has he? Was certainly eased back into it.

He doesn't look 'match' fit - or anywhere near as fit as he was before the injury.

Players need game time - this is why you have a reserve team.

Baffles me why we don't use it properly but then no-one seems to these days...

Reserve team seems to be there for youngsters to play competitive football. Only 'first team' plays who have bee involved with them this season have been Mayuka, Lee, Barnard and Reeves.

No idea why fringe players dont play more often or players coming back from injury don't ease themseves back in.
