Bottom in mid-April?

Alright folks let's all calm down and put today's game to bed. We lost. End of story.

There is a far more pressing concern than today's loss in the bigger picture. Looking ahead it is VERY likely that we could be bottom in the first week of April. Let's be honest - our next three games are highly unlikely to generate any points (I thought we'd nick it against Liverpool but judging by their performance at Wigan - gulp!), and QPR's next three games? Sunderland, Villa, and Wigan. They couldn't of gotten an easier run of fixtures if they planned it themselves. That's 9 points right there. They're on 29, we're 2 points adrift on 27.

Villa have a winnable game at Reading, and could pick up points at home to City & Liverpool. They vault ahead of us.

Wigan are at home to both Newcastle and Norwich, and Reading have us at home in early April. With a win, they'll vault ahead of us.

How do you think this will affect team morale? Confidence is already at an all-time low and if such a scenario does play out, do you see any way out for us?

How about a staying up poll mods?

Lets not run away with ourselves - Norwich away and Liverpool at home our both games we could win. Liverpool are not going to sit back and defend against us for a start. And Norwich are having a bad run of form and the pressure will be on them next week.
