It seems that some prefer to see us do badly and wallow in a self-righteous glow than Saints winning. The smugness of some of threads being posted is ridiculous and I for one am hoping will bite them on the arse (for the good of Saints).

Fair enough it didn't agree with the replacement of Adkins, but live with it, suck it up and support the team for God sake.

Because 90% of the posters on here have personally disorder symptoms as a result of the severe damage caused by the last 7-8 ears. They struggle to move on from the dark Saints era and probably miss it. DBT is required for some to have coping skills to handle supporting Saints.

I don't take delight in it. I'm just ****ing angry. Anyone with half a brain cell could see that NC made a huge mistake getting rid of NA and replacing him with this idiot. There was uproar and then in typical Saints fashion the fans rolled over and accepted it. It pains me to say it, but Saints fans are spineless. We've been dealt so many blows over the years yet we keep putting up with being treated like *****s. Other clubs would still be protesting against the sacking of NA. Not us. We just take it on the chin and put up with ****ty performances like today. I'd have rather seen us go down with a fight and a good young British manager at the helm.

IMO Saints will be relelgated. MP will walk and NC will have been taught a very valuable lesson... If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.

Because there's nothing else in their life??

It's football ffs

I don't take any delight but its still ruined my weekend - thankfully the wife hasn't arranged anything on the social front tonight.

I dont take delight in at all, I am resigned to the fact we have happy clapper middle class corduroy wearers who have the passion of a lettuce, we lost and I am ****ed off, I hate I told you sos but the transfer window and corteses pride have hurt us, hindered more than helped buut point that out you are a terrible fan, strange the results have been what the supposed negative fans have been getting at, ******** to the performance we need results, why is danny fox even in the squad to start? Wheres forren? Mayuka? **** or injured?

These people deal with the emotional distress of supporting Saints with severe negativity and troll esque posting. Bless em.

Theres probably some truth in that, but I prefer that to others believing we will be in the champions league in 3 years time, realism all day long, our defence is **** and thats all there is to it.

Those negative types are in fact the ones who care most about our team and club.

Do you think I'd of taken a point before the game had I not had the best interests of the club in mind? We'd of been better off had we done that, hypothetically speaking.

I think sanity sits somewhere between. It's admirable to hope, wish and long for top-5 football, Champions League and sustained success. It's normal to accept the fact we're going to have bad days at the office, terrible performances and lose to teams we should beat, just as it's normal to believe we'll beat the occasional 'big boy' along the way and look world-beaters at times too.

The trouble comes from ego's, not opinions. Having the opinion we're terrible is fine, posting about it over and over again, quoting yourself, patting yourself on the back when we're terrible and posting 'I told you so' time and time again is not fine.

For once, I find myself applauding one of your posts! Bloody well done, Sir. DPS is up there with the most negative, reactionary, OTT, negative, moaning little non-supporters this forum has to offer. Now we can add hypocrite to the list.

I don't have a problem with people posting negative stuff, my point was the delight that people take in us losing so they can satisfy their vendettas. Learn to read knobhead.

I think that the majority of fans (apart from the forum "characters") have been quite impressed with the way that Saints have played since MP has been in charge. A bad result like todays and suddenly everything is doom and gloom and "I was proved right!". It was one game, albeit an important one. If you are going to judge MP`s reign on this result then I think that you need to have a look at yourselves. I expect that you were all crowing after the Man City result, unless of course you knew better.

I think I will stand outside the ground after every game selling razor blades and, for those walking over the itchen bridge, lengths of rope. I will make a killing.

6 games in and 1 win, lets just deal in the facts, realism in a relegation zone is needed and pragmatism that we may go down due to poor signings and a lack of quality ones at that. Thats the reality, and not at all reactionary as I would of said this and I have in fact since november concerning our signings.

It seems some take pleasure in racking up "I told you so" points

Yes after the CIty game as well, the bed wetters have a grasp on reality so I am happy to be in that camp, we are never going to be in the top 4, we are never going to have a 50000000 stadium and the fans who swallow such ****e are easily impressed materialistic children.

There are a lot of trolls who post, all day, everyday. Probably not even Saints supporters just idle layabouts or students.

I'm asking the mods to do something about some of them again cos they get on my wick.

I understand people being passionate abouttheir football and being totally ****ed off about real ****ty performances like yesterdays.....god knows i was so ****ed off yesterday and had to sit right next to the QPR fans gloating at how bad we were.......However i do not subscribe to this continual slating of the club, the chairman, the manager, the players etc.

Saints have been playing some wonderful football lately and yes there have been some inadequate performances as well but that does not mean that from the chairman down it is all wrong at SFC.

It is our first season back in the Premiership and for most of these players it is a real learning curve......support the side, get off their backs.....the support by a near on full house yesterday was disgraceful, i cant remember the last time i witnessed a home crowd so quiet.....when the team are struggling that is the time to raise the roof and drown out the away fans.

Would love to know what the average age is on this forum because we appear to have a very spoilt membership here that think we automatically should be winning week in week out.

If this was the dell the noise would of been amazing, the social demographic going to our matches now has changed, I cant blame players not responding to tarquin or nigella, at least the skates have the working class at their games making noise, correct that dolite class but they make a racket.

Some people took great delight in saying NA was not up to the job in this league, we would never progress and would go down, unless we changed manager. It takes all sorts
