Baldbarbarian Posted 25 February, 2013 Posted 25 February, 2013 sets off an amber light on the turnstiles which the stewards are meant to check I believe, they very rarely do though.

Saint Garrett Posted 25 February, 2013 Posted 25 February, 2013 There is normally a steward checking each turnstile. Not sure how often they're looking but personally wouldn't risk it.

Dan Posted 25 February, 2013 Posted 25 February, 2013 Its a piece of pish getting in on a kids ticket.
Griffo Posted 25 February, 2013 Posted 25 February, 2013 No, not me at all ever. Wouldn't dream of it officer.
Toomer Posted 25 February, 2013 Posted 25 February, 2013 I have let a mate take his grandson on my adult ST with no problem.
Stud mark of doom Posted 25 February, 2013 Posted 25 February, 2013 In my experience (my daughter has a season ticket too) they often have a little look just to check it really is a child using the ticket.

If you are smart and there are two or three of you this is what you do: Send the two legit STH's in first, and just as the 'illegal' comes through the other two go to the steward and ask wgere the toilets are etc. thus distracting him to kook behind pointing the way, he then misses the orange light and bingo! Not that that I have employed this method, justs seems obvious.
simo Posted 26 February, 2013 Posted 26 February, 2013 Tell him not to be so tight and just pay the extra to upgrade it to an adlut ticket , could be a nightmare if he does get caught!

The9 Posted 26 February, 2013 Posted 26 February, 2013 I have let a mate take his grandson on my adult ST with no problem. There wouldn't be a problem as he'd get a green light and they don't check those at all. The system actually locks disabled/enabler pairs out if they don't go through together as well...

Lord Duckhunter Posted 26 February, 2013 Posted 26 February, 2013 (edited) The OP doesn't say whether it's a season ticket or a match ticket. Match ticket, the adult knows the score and if he gets refused entry then so be it. Wouldn't try it with a nippers season ticket in case the nipper's ticket got confiscated/deactivated. Pretty poor form if the nipper misses any matches because your mate is too tight to upgrade. Edited 26 February, 2013 by Lord Duckhunter
Dimond Geezer Posted 26 February, 2013 Posted 26 February, 2013 My cousins husband regularly gets in on his daughters (u17) season ticket. Not something I'd like to try, for the reason Lord DH alluded too above. Also it's fraud.
