sets off an amber light on the turnstiles which the stewards are meant to check I believe, they very rarely do though.

In my experience (my daughter has a season ticket too) they often have a little look just to check it really is a child using the ticket.

If you are smart and there are two or three of you this is what you do:

Send the two legit STH's in first, and just as the 'illegal' comes through the other two go to the steward and ask wgere the toilets are etc. thus distracting him to kook behind pointing the way, he then misses the orange light and bingo!

Not that that I have employed this method, justs seems obvious.

Tell him not to be so tight and just pay the extra to upgrade it to an adlut ticket , could be a nightmare if he does get caught!

Why would a ST holder not know where the toilets are in a ground they go to for every match ?

I have let a mate take his grandson on my adult ST with no problem.

There wouldn't be a problem as he'd get a green light and they don't check those at all.

The system actually locks disabled/enabler pairs out if they don't go through together as well...

The OP doesn't say whether it's a season ticket or a match ticket.

Match ticket, the adult knows the score and if he gets refused entry then so be it. Wouldn't try it with a nippers season ticket in case the nipper's ticket got confiscated/deactivated. Pretty poor form if the nipper misses any matches because your mate is too tight to upgrade.

Especially as it's my son's season ticket that he is using!
