do it..

despite my thinking we are not very good...I have us staying up with a defeat at sunderland and staying up on 36 points...:?

some of the others down here have some very tough games...I tried to be a little more generous to them and a little more harsh on us

I even had us lose 3 games in a row (liverpool, chelsea, reading)

the 9 points I had us getting

win - QPR, West Ham

Draw - Norwich, WBA, Stoke

I always find myself predicting an above average number of draws (for all teams) on these predictor things on the basis that where you get two relatively equally matched teams (on paper) the most logical prediction is a draw.

I tried to be harsher on us and not so on our bottom half of table competitors but still had us coming out in 11th (on 41 points - probably far too high in the table for that points total due to the aforementioned over emphasis on draws).

I had Villa, Reading and QPR relegated on 35, 32 and 35 points respectively.

I think what struck me most of all is that I'd rather have our run in to the those of the teams around us. Our home games vs Stoke and West Brom seem to come at just the right time (yes, I know there's no such thing as an easy game in the prem but those two at home but be the least daunting on paper)

edit: Wigan, West Ham, Man Utd and Man City come out with just 37 games after updating all the results...

Down on 35 points with Villa and QPR :(

Had us beating West Ham and Liverpool at home, while drawing with West Brom, Stoke, and QPR. Pessimistic yes but all my other predictions were very reasonable.

Considering you clearly don't know the meaning of 'reason', I'd imagine this is doubtful.

That would give us 36 points, not 35...

sorry typo it was in fact 36. Wigan stay up on goal difference (I overestimated their victories since they seem to be resounding when they do win).

QPR, Reading and villa to go down, Wigan send Villa down with a last day win over them. Had us to finish 13th on 41 points, ahead of Sliding down the table Norwich on goal difference. Wins for us against QPR, West Ham, West Brom and Stoke. Us to be mathmatically safe with 2 games to spare.

Saints on 41 - wins aginst QPR, West Ham, West Brom, and an end of season celebration against Stoke.

Reading, Wigan, and QPR go down

How did you keep Villa up? You have a soft spot for them or just being overly generous?

At last, somebody who doesn't view everything with rose tinted specs. I fear you are right and Saints will be relegated simply because we throw so many points away from winning positions. Other teams around us are less eye-catching but seem to know better how to win even with less skilful players.

I think we'll beat Reading, West Ham & Stoke,

Draw with West Brom & Sunderland.

Lose to Liverpool, Chelsea, Swansea and Spurs.

39 points total.

Also got us on 39 pts

16 - Saints

17 - QPR

18 - Wigan

19 - Reading

20 - Villa

Mental.

I had us relegated on the last day of the season with a 2-2 draw against Stoke - changed it to 2-1 and we finished 14th! It was pretty tight, I could see a lot of draws and we got thrashed at Tottenham and Swansea plus we lost at Sunderland but QPR and Reading didn't make it!

Oh well no one knows, what happens will happen but I don't feel confident to be honest.

Watching Tino's post match interview again just there, you get a real sense that he is now very lost and extremely worried too. He looks defeated and very stressed....... Hope the players arent influenced too much...... Big games coming up, time for Tino's game face
