Possibly. If he's good enough for Liverpool, he's good enough for us, one might think...

well, we dont know if he was good enough for liverpool, he never went for a trial and there could have been as much chance of them saying...no thanks

surely he is good but seems odd when we really needed someone to come in sooner

Fonte on the bench ahead of Forren after seven weeks out through injury said it all for me. I'm not sure if he'll ever play for us, he might go straight back to Norway!

Hooiveld should be out now, Fonte back in, and maybe we'll get Forren on as a sub and he can finally start earning his wages.

Fonte, yosh, clyne and shaw all good enough.

Forren, well we will see

We have pretty much signed a new back 5 which begs the question why you are over reacting ?

Whatever the question, the answer is that our defence is not very good really.

However you package it.

I think it very unlikely we will go down: we are like a mid-table side. Top half front half, bottom half defence. Best way to get better is to improve the worst bits, i.e. the defence.

Perhaps it is the Delgado factor.

New manager did not sign him.

The previous manager did not sign him either.

But he looked good on video.

Hope I am wrong of course.

Or it might be the Stig Johansen syndrome. Played well in the norwegian premier league, but hey, so would Ali Dia on a good day.
