rshephard3 Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Shaw must have taken a knock mustn't he? It shouldn't turn into a witch hunt but it is fair to say Shaw is very comfortably the best left back at the club right now. Sounds like Foxy isn't the only defender who's had a tough time today.
110_Persaint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Who here said Fox is more than good enough as backup for Shaw? Hang your head in shame.
Whitey Grandad Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Danny Fox, Jos Hooiveld are not premiership players and thats all there is to it, they are not even adequate stand ins, they are ****e. We knew that last summer.
CanadaSaint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Watching Fox live and he really is dreadful, you can see Jos and Maya constantly looking towards him. Out of position constantly I don't really blame him for either goal - just the breaks, but I agree with you. His positioning is dire and he doesn't have the speed to recover.
beatlesaint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Watching Fox live and he really is dreadful, you can see Jos and Maya constantly looking towards him. Out of position constantly Some people get upset if you highlight just how **** Fox is.......he must be the unluckiest player we have ever had then if you want to be generous !
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Who here said Fox is more than good enough as backup for Shaw? Hang your head in shame. Slag off your own players.. Hang your head in shame...
Barry Sanchez Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Shaw must have taken a knock mustn't he? It shouldn't turn into a witch hunt but it is fair to say Shaw is very comfortably the best left back at the club right now. Sounds like Foxy isn't the only defender who's had a tough time today. Its not a witch hunt, Danny Fox is absolute ****.
Mr X Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Gaston trying for a pen with THIS ref? clear dive by gaston
Smirking_Saint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Slag off your own players.. Hang your head in shame... I think he is about 12 tbf
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 (edited) So is the season over now...are we relegated....etc... Just asking as no doubt these sort of knee jerk ****e will be topical Edited 24 February, 2013 by ALWAYS_SFC
max_saints Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 pressing game just isn't evident today. jos + fox = accident waiting to happen. Ramirez, club record signing, more than half a season on and still has not justified the price tag.
davefoggy Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Fox. Just go. You are useless. wish he f**king would. i hate that ****
110_Persaint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Let's just have ONE Danny Fox thread please lads. I can sense everyone's starting their own thread right now.
rshephard3 Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Its not a witch hunt, Danny Fox is absolute ****. I salute your direct forum approach sir ?
SaintBobby Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 From radio commentary doesn't sound we've played too badly.
Wade Garrett Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Slag off your own players.. Hang your head in shame... What difference does it make if you slag a player off on an online forum. Doing it at a match is completely different.
Patrick Bateman Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 I would take Tiote if he were available.
Barry Sanchez Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Slag off your own players.. Hang your head in shame... So praise him instead in the blind hope he becomes Lahm?
S-Clarke Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Rameriz with a rubbish first touch. Such an enigma.
Sheaf Saint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 What the fecking hell was that Gaston!?
Dr Who? Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 From radio commentary doesn't sound we've played too badly. Don't, let that get in the way of a good slagging of members of the squad, that we support!
Thedelldays Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 puncheon looking lively from the moment on bit surprised to see him dropped...been the best of the attacking 3 behind lambert
Sheaf Saint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Rameriz with a rubbish first touch. Such an enigma. Enigma is one way of putting it. Over-hyped massive waste of money is another.
Dazza82 Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Puncheon has done more than Lallana has all game Why didnt he start? I hope Fonte comes back in for Jos for QPR
Saint Martini Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 In retrospect bringing on Fox for Shaw was not the best decision ever....
RobM Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 What difference does it make if you slag a player off on an online forum. Doing it at a match is completely different. 100% agree. And Fox is ****.
mitch01 Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Harsh to blame Big Jos, he's been great recently.
Thedelldays Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 100% agree. And Fox is ****. get behind the team and stop being negative...ffs
Mr X Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 just think we could have brought both the newcastle players they've just signed for less than ramirez
S-Clarke Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Enigma is one way of putting it. Over-hyped massive waste of money is another. Clearly talented, but I have no idea how he can integrate into this team.
CanadaSaint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Rameriz with a rubbish first touch. Such an enigma. I'm beginning to wonder if he's even an enigma. That implies there's a brilliant side, which I haven't seen yet.
RobM Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Puncheon has done more than Lallana has all game Why didnt he start? I hope Fonte comes back in for Jos for QPR Disagree, 1st half Lallana didn't do much. 2nd half much better and a good cross for Lamberts goal.
Shroppie Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 In retrospect bringing on Fox for Shaw was not the best decision ever.... There must have been a reason. Injury? Illness?
Edmonton Saint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 We havent played bad, but have contributed to our own downfall today. Boruc hasn't been called upon to do anything except pull the ball out of the net four times. Newcastle didn't really create a lot and ALL of the goals were avoidable from our standpoint. Disappointing.
110_Persaint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Second half we've actually been not bad. Loss is entirely due to Fox IMO.
Smirking_Saint Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Harsh to blame Big Jos, he's been great recently. He hasnt exactly been great, was good vs city, Yosh has covered magnificently in the other performances He has been ok basically
RobM Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 get behind the team and stop being negative...ffs Stop taking it so seriously.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 So praise him instead in the blind hope he becomes Lahm? Nope. just no need to use such terms a used on here about your own players..bit childish tbh
DT Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Fact: one of Danny Fox's tattoos says: 'I am a very bad footballer indeed. Oh yes.'
JustMike Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 awful defending today, 2-2 and playing well had a couple of chances then the penalty and OG killed us. Oh, and I still hate Foy!
Lighthouse Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 There must have been a reason. Injury? Illness? Possibly because he was booked and we didn't want him to get a second yellow and miss the QPR game. Not a ridiculous decision, I just wish we had someone better to bring on than Fox.
S-Clarke Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 I'm beginning to wonder if he's even an enigma. That implies there's a brilliant side, which I haven't seen yet. It's in there, but we're seeing it few and far between at the moment. He seems to be completely lost and ineffective. As long as we stay up, a good pre-season behind him will help a hell of a lot. If we go down he will become the greatest waste of money in this clubs history.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Second half we've actually been not bad. Loss is entirely due to Fox IMO. School tomorrow,,,
bug187 Posted 24 February, 2013 Posted 24 February, 2013 Was always going to be a tough game. Fox isn't premiership level. Newcastle probably deserved the win but we have have some games coming up that'll see us pull clear. Not worried about this result too much.
