hutch Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Wigan and/or Reading are gonna pick up at least a point. Saggy's gonna be telling us that his squad isn't big enough for this league (again), and who knows what will happen at Arsenal. By tomorrow evening we might not even care anyway. FWIW I reckon Wigan will pick up 3 points, and QPR, Reading, Villa & Newchateau will get none.
Turkish Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 (edited) Reading will win. Villa and QPR will lose. Twitchy will say how tough its gonna be now. Leaving us to as good as send QPR Down next week with a win which will leave them 10 points from safety with 10 games to play. Edited 23 February, 2013 by Turkish
beatlesaint Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Be amazed if Reading dont win. Probably leave it until the 93rd minute but they will win.
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Fulham v Stoke - Draw Arsenal v Villa - Arsenal Nowrich v Everton - Norwich QPR v Man United - Man U Reading v Wigan - Reading WBA v Sunderland - Draw IMO
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Reading v Wigan, Arsenal v Villa and QPR v United will all be draws!
hutch Posted 23 February, 2013 Author Posted 23 February, 2013 Reading will win. Villa and QPR will lose. Twitchy will say how tough its gonna be now. Leaving us to as good as send QPR Down next week with a win which will leave them 10 points from safety with 10 games to play. If it turns out like that, I'm sure we would take it easy on them next week. We wouldn't want to kick a good man when he was down would we?
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 as long as QPR lose, they will fall even further behind, no matter what due to the reading/wigan fixture
Andre Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Fulham v Stoke - away win Arsenal v Villa - home win Norwich v Everton - draw QPR v United - away win Reading v Wigan - home win WBA v Sunderland - draw Meaning a win could put us 11th, assuming West Ham lose to Spurs.
Dr Who? Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Fulham v Stoke - Fulham Arsenal v Villa - Arsenal Nowrich v Everton - Draw QPR v Man United - Man U Reading v Wigan - Reading WBA v Sunderland - WBA
bjk Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Somehow i think it might be a good thing if Reading beat Wigan, with United doing what they should at QPR it further cuts adrift the botton two leaving the one remaining relegation place to avoid.
Dr Who? Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 I remember Man U being loads of points clear about this time last year and then drawing with Everton 4-4 at home and then losing 1-0 at Wigan. Interesting that everyone has gone for Man U. Could this be one of those weekends for Man U? Nah doubt it, but maybe?
Dr Who? Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Also I am only bother because I want QPR to go down, not because they may catch us. I can honestly say I think we will have no problem staying up this season.
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 I remember Man U being loads of points clear about this time last year and then drawing with Everton 4-4 at home and then losing 1-0 at Wigan. Interesting that everyone has gone for Man U. Could this be one of those weekends for Man U? Nah doubt it, but maybe? they now have...RVP so they will win today
benjii Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 I think Villa might get a result. Reading and Wigan will draw. QPR will lose f'sure. Bare bones innit. Not a miracle worker.
saints_is_the_south Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Have a bad feeling Villa will get something today, couldn't be a better time to be visiting the Emirates. United to beat QPR, and I think Wigan will win at Reading. Fulham 1-1 Stoke Arsenal 2-2 Villa Norwich 2-2 Everton QPR 0-2 Man Utd Reading 1-2 Wigan WBA 2-1 Sunderland Would leave bottom half like this. 11. Fulham 30pts -6GD 12. West Ham 30 -9 13. Norwich 30 -15 14. Sunderland 29 -7 15. Saints 27 -9 16. Newcastle 27 -12 17. Aston Villa 25 -25 ---------------------------- 18. Wigan 24 -20 19. Reading 23 -16 20. QPR 17 -24
CB Fry Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 QPR to get an utterly worthless point today. Cue standard issue Arry/Media love-in.
Jack Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Fulham v Stoke 0-1 Arsenal v Villa - 3-1 Norwich v Everton - 0-2 QPR v Man United - 0-3 Reading v Wigan - 1-1 WBA v Sunderland - 2-1
saints_is_the_south Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Fulham v Stoke 0-1 Arsenal v Villa - 3-1 Norwich v Everton - 0-2 QPR v Man United - 0-3 Reading v Wigan - 1-1 WBA v Sunderland - 2-1 This would be the ideal day!
Jack Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 This would be the ideal day! Not unrealistic either. I think Stoke v Fulham will be low scoring, could go either way. Arsenal will bounce back against Villa. Norwich haven't been great recently, they've been setting up really negatively, think Everton will break them down. QPR are sh*t, United are not. Reading will sit back and soak it up, concede, then go all out in the last 10 and score a 96th min equaliser. Probably that little sh*t le Fondre. Cue media "you've got to love Reading's spirit and never say die attitude" papering over the fact that they're sh*t. WBA are a much stronger side with Yabob and Mulumbu as the CM pairing, think this is their 2nd or 3rd game back together after injuries. Close game that WBA should just edge. I'll have to go and stick a couple of quid on those outcomes now...
Andre Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Fulham v Stoke 0-1 Arsenal v Villa - 3-1 Norwich v Everton - 0-2 QPR v Man United - 0-3 Reading v Wigan - 1-1 WBA v Sunderland - 2-1 I like that. We've already had our amazing weekend of results elsewhere though!
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 I'm going to say wins for Utd, Reading and West Brom but draws in the other fixtures, including us.
Shroppie Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Watching Fulham v Stoke. First half hour very poor. Seriously think we're better than either of these.
S-Clarke Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Watching Fulham v Stoke. First half hour very poor. Seriously think we're better than either of these. It's a painful game to be honest. Atrocious lack of quality for a PL game.
Olallana Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 It's a painful game to be honest. Atrocious lack of quality for a PL game. Dont know if you guys have the same feed from the game as I do but I would summarize first half with one word... AWAY!!
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Watching Fulham v Stoke. First half hour very poor. Seriously think we're better than either of these. and yet, we have spent every second of this season so far...below them..
S-Clarke Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Well that was an unexpected bit of quality
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 well, today is the first of readings crucial home games against us at the bottom that will make or break them IMO
S-Clarke Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 stoke looked awful. Although they do most weeks, tbh.
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 I don't see that result as being all that bad. Win tomorrow and we're only 3 points behind Stoke. No reason we can't finish above Stoke, especially with them coming to St Marys on the last day. We also need to keep Stoke away from any chance of Europe so they have naff all to play for in that game. W00T for Arsenal.
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 watching the reading game...pretty cagey so far
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 watching the reading game...pretty cagey so far Hardly surprising, Reading really don't want to lose that and get cut adrift.
The Cat Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Hansen will tell us that's "a great hit" on MOTD later. 20 yard piledriver into the far top corner.
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Any chance of the refs at Loftus, Emirates and the Mad blowing for FT an hour early?
Shroppie Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Any chance of the refs at Loftus, Emirates and the Mad blowing for FT an hour early? Just add Boundary Park and that'll do nicely.
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Just add Boundary Park and that'll do nicely. Why do you want the Skates to only lose 1-0? I want 6 or 7 with at least a hat trick from Lee Barnard.
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 put the QPR game on...the reading game is so boring QPR look quite good here
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Matej Vydra CDAJFU Norwich losing now, more good news.
Thedelldays Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Matej Vydra CDAJFU Norwich losing now, more good news. never heard of him before this season...but banging them in
Lighthouse Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 Reading losing at home. That's my glass half full way of looking at it.
