I have decided not to shave until he predicts us to win, so the beard is quite long now. Maybe the razor will be out next week when we entertain the mighty Rangers.

But since Christmas he has changed his tactic and now predicts us to lose every game. All this proves is that he is absolutely useless at predicting, but not that he never predicts us to win. If I ever see him I will be furious with him and I'll come straight onto Saintsweb and tell every what I would have said to him If I was brave enough. Just for once I want him to say nice things about us and that we will win, even if I think we will lose. I hate him.

PS. I still don't like him because he always has a downer on Saints. PPS. We will beat the Magpies on Sunday. There! I've just made a prediction I just hope I'm right!!!!

Some of you act like whiny girls who needs to get compliments from their boyfriends to feel secure. Newcastle are favorites to win, and they should be. They are performing well lately and are at home. Give one reason why Lawro or anybody else should have us as winners?

Professor Posted 23 February, 2013 Posted 23 February, 2013 The only admiration I have for Lawrenson is that for someone with no personality, whose own football career was so long ago that most fans have forgotten he ever played the game, is that he somehow persuades the BBC to pay him to do a very poor job. His predictions are no better than if you were to ask a little old lady in the street. They equate to the same outcome you would get from guesswork.

Well the truth behind that is at the beginning he was predicting us to win matches when we were losing a lot... Lately he has us losing a lot when we have win or draws.... So, he is really wrong in his predictions but as we all now, two negatives equal one positive.....and that´s why his total sum of predictions are close....

If he to every score right as well I'd get him to do my lottery numbers. There will be harder sets of fixtures to predict, he certainly did better than anyone on here and as someone that does accumulators every week there is usually at least one that you get wrong. To get every single one right is impressive, especially for someone that couldn't tip an old lady out of a wheelchair.

No not really, I'd expect him to get more results correct than not, but not the score bang on, he's a football expert, not a fortune teller. If he is not expected to get the score correct, then why does he predict it? Why not just predict the result?? He certainly is not a fortune teller but he doesn't appear to be much of a pundit. No scores correct today & QPR in 7th place if his predictions were correct !!
