GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL MILLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAANNNNNNNOOOOOOO

Have that you fish ****ers. I wonder when PES will post...

Hi Thorpey! Gutted by the result, or more, the cruel nature of it. Anyway, two things, 'Are you watching Southampton' is a **** chant sung by morons who don't really have a ****ing clue how to really hurt their rivals (No brains and no class), why mention Saints on a big night like tonight? Everyone knows (who has any brains whatsoever) that its worse to be ignored than hated? Anyway my second point is how well we played with so many of our Big name players out! Defoe, Kranjcar, Diarra and Campbell. Really proud of the boys tonight.

Glad that so many of you are pleased that Pompey got a draw against the mighty AC Milan, Your hatred of us Blew few must be softening? Awwwww :)

No, the beginning of the decline was when they announced the club was up for sale for £1, they werelosing £2m a month and players would have to be sold in January. And Bagpuss leaving too.

Hello Arizona the club is not up for sale for £1, the club has not announced this. That along with so much that you read is utter made up bull****, but you knew that didn't you? Anyway an interesting aside, kia joorabchian was in the directors box tonight? Not speculating just an observation. :)

That would be the transfer advisor for West Ham?

I can see why you might get excited about that. Maybe if the hammers took Defoe back, plus a few others, you might not do a Leeds quite so quickly.

dont make out AC milan are some sort of dream team...if they were that good they would not be in the uefa cup...

some if not all of the top 4 are better than milan imo..

we were laughing not because you blew a lead to milan we were laughing that you (some) were singing (and it was crystal on telly)

"are you watching southampton".....and

"are you bournemouth in disguise"...lol

the fact you had all the joy in the world and it was SNATCHED from you at the death....we would have laughed as much if it was bolton doing it..

Funny how no-one has yet mentioned that the first goal was never a free kick.

He's still got to find the top corner from 25 yards. Anywhere else and James probably saves it.

Fantastic defending for the equaliser as well, by the way. 2nd minute of injury time, I know, we'll leave their centre-forward, who has given us a torrid time all evening, completely unmarked in the penalty area - the only part of the pitch where he's useful.

Anyway, I'm gutted that we drew but it was a fantastic display of football from us with a weakened side.

What's it like to be bitter ? ;)

I watched the first half, then had to play footy from 9.30 - 10.30 so sky plussed the rest of it. Was so annoyed when they went 2-0 up and saw no way of Milan coming back when they were still 2-0 down in the 83rd minute.

Up steps Ronnie.

Then to snatch the equaliser in the 92 minute was amazing! It must have been about 11.15pm when I jumped up and shouted 'Get in there' really loud. My next door neighbour is a skate, so hopefully that woke him up!

You probably heard me from your house too PL! :D

You numpty, firstly he could well have been not in (down the pub or even the ground) and secondly if he's a Pompey fan then there's no way he would've been asleep.

At 11.15pm? He is a miserable old git (something I think most Skate fans have in common - excluding you obviously :smt054) and has no friends so wouldnt of been down the pub.

I'm not bitter at all.

PFC has earnt (albeit in a totally skewed debt-ridden market) the right to compete on that stage (just like we've done on many occasions in the past), and I don't blame Pompey fans for making the most of it. I'd be surprised if things ever get any better than the prestige of last night for Pompey (or any middling-sized club), so make the most of it.

What a great night that was laat night. Just a shame about the last minute goal, but apart from that, the atmosphere was rocking, we matched AC in every department, and in the end we were a little unlucky.

I was a tad bitter when Pompey were winning, purely because I knew they would go on about it forever if they won.

But they didn't win due to a last minute goal and for this reason, I'm lol'ing at the c**ts.

Bitter? how many landmines did the team last night cost?

How the f*** you can support a team that has been purchased with blood money is beyond me.

p.s thought I would not add the after effects as the sight of blood often gets you skates excited.

Oh this has to be your best quote ever! Seriously, I think that sounded like the loudest chant of the night from what I could hear...says a lot about you lot!

Exactly. Didn't they finish 5th in serie A last season. That's our equivilent of Everton. Although the Premiership is the best league in the world (apparently), so 5th in serie A is more like about 10th in the Premiership. So AC are more like our equivilent of West Ham.

So, from what I can conclude from this is that, Pompey's draw with Hull, was in fact their biggest acheivement of the week.

What are you trying to say ? That I should stop supporting my club because "alledgedly" it's been purchased by a gun runner ? FAF, I've been supporting Pompey since I was a nipper. Run along.

Alittle unlucky!!!! Inzaghi should have scored 2 in the first half

Firstly, whilst the free-kick that lead to Ronaldinho's goal was perhaps not the most stonewall foul in the world, if Zambrotta had committed it on Richard Hughes, you lot would have all been asking for the free-kick, so that argument is a non-starter I'm afraid.

With regards to feeling bitter, you lot prior to a couple of years ago have spent the last quarter of a decade in Southamptons shade and obviously still care about us, given "Are you watching Southampton" was the loudest chant of the match. I'm touched you still care, even amidst our recent demise. I dont even recall singing "Are you watching Portsmouth" in the heady days of Saints 4-0 demolition of Spurs, the semi final or the final back in 2003.

For the record, you lot really didnt deserve a win. You played well, especially in the 2nd half for 30-odd minutes, where you happened to gain a 2 goal advantage. AC Milan could have quite easily been 3-0 up at half time had the usually sharp Inzaghi been a bit more clinical. Okay, they didnt put those chances away but I would say they had far more clean cut chances than Pompey did.

But he didn't though did he.
no he didnt, but it was answering to a poster saying you were unlucky not to win, when in fact you were lucky not to lose. The referee gave the free kick and so you should stop whining about that if it is a case of actual happenings.

LOL@Pompey being obsessed with us.

And LOL@them gushing over getting a draw with a team that have already ****ed the group and didn't even try until they needed to, and guess what happened then....yep, you guessed it, made em look ****e.

well we do like to celebrate things with style. The Adams family were out in force last night.

I personally think the skates deserved to win, although this has no effect on how funny I found the last minute goal by Inzaghi! :)

Yes, on reflection so was I. To be watching Pompey playing in Europe against the likes of AC Milan and not losing is indicative of how far we've come. Long may it continue.........

It won't. Unless of course you find yourselves another sugar daddy, meaning yet again, any success you get is hollow

I watched the game in Varsity in Portswood and was surrounded by Southampton fans going mad in the 92nd minute and, much like you all going mental with excitement on here, I'll take it as the compliment it is and as a reflection of how small time you've become.

I wish we could've drawn with Plymouth instead.
