hypochondriac Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 A mate let me down so I have two tickets going spare for Steve Coogan's Stand up- "Alan Partridge and other less successful characters" at Bournemouth's BIC for tomorrow at 7PM. Cost me 65 quid in total (not including the booking fee.) If anyone can take them off my hands then can have them for 55. I can deliver them anywhere around Southampton and I'm currently in Bournemouth. Thanks.
Evil Monkey Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 A mate let me down so I have two tickets going spare Is he a bit of a fatty?
Kadeem Hardison Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 That tour has had the worst reviews I have ever seen for a comedian. "a bitter disappointment" and "mediocre shambles" The Independent "feisty failure", "scrappy" and "under-rehearsed" The Times And this review was particularly biting: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2008/10/13/review-steve-coogan-echo-arena-100252-22022356/ I don't know how he has the temerity to charge as much as he does and then not prepare his material thoroughly (at least try it out on smaller audiences or rehearse it once or twice).
hypochondriac Posted 27 November, 2008 Author Posted 27 November, 2008 Great cheers for that a real help. I'm just trying to sell the tickets so if anyone is interested please let me know.
Baj Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 I feel so sorry for you I'm not even going to bother moving this to the correct forum.
hypochondriac Posted 27 November, 2008 Author Posted 27 November, 2008 I feel so sorry for you I'm not even going to bother moving this to the correct forum. Ah well. Bit of a waste of money but I'll probably end up going myself.

EastleighSoulBoy Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 Obviously I'll be going with someone else. Go on your own, at least when you get bored you can stretch out for a kip!
Weston Super Saint Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 You could take a hat and a fake moustache and at the interval swap chairs and pretend to be someone else.

Scudamore Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 Obviously I'll be going with someone else. Here's hoping they don't see those reviews...
hypochondriac Posted 27 November, 2008 Author Posted 27 November, 2008 I can confirm that is not me! Still I'll put it on ebay so we shall see. I'm open to any sensible offers by the way, not that I'll get any on here.

Clearly a large percentage of Britain disagree with you going on DVD sales. I find him funneh anyway and will look forward to see him in person should I not find a buyer.
saint lard Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 I was being sarcastic, Partridge is the best thing Coogan has done IMO.
Junction 9 Posted 27 November, 2008 Posted 27 November, 2008 I saw him in Pompey last week, really awful show I'm afraid. And I'm a fan.
