emailing high res pics

trying to send an 80 MB high res image via email, and failing understandably.

 

What are the alternatives, other than posting a CD,

You could try DropBox which is a file hosting and sharing service.

 

I think it's free up to 300Mb.

It's free 2 gb then invite some friends to it via email. Inviter and invitee both get extra 500 mb for each accepted invite. I'm up to 8.5 gb free now.

Skype will transfer files, if you're both on it.
