Tickets just gone on general sale for this (to fans with purchase history). First time I've had to wait in a queue on the online booking system. Can see this one selling out fast.

I have 2 season tickets - how do I get one more ticket for this game, and get 3 seats together? Can I give up my season tickets to get 3 seats together? Can I do this online or do I have to call the ticket office....:x

they're still uncertain about the date for this game...all depends upon 'Pools Europa cup progress or lack of it.

annoying for us that have to book flights well in advance.

any how , because of this uncertainty , it will now be the QPR match instead.

Please tell me you are joking about this !

I am returning on a 12 hour flight, arriving on the morning of the match (no doubt totally knackered) and proceeding straight to the stadium ! My arrangements will be fckucked big time if they change the time or the date ????

If Liverpool overcome their 2-0 deficit against Zenit on Thursday then our game against Liverpool will be played on Sunday 17th March, probably a 3.00pm KO.

About as likely as Cortese stepping down before the end of the season.

Amazing how a little bit or pr, a few good performances and beating the the champions, gets everyone buying tickets....... This is how you get on one of these runs. Keep going, more bums on seats, more profit, better players, bigger stadium, better results, even more bums on seats, even more profit...... You get it!

We had this momentum with debt back in 2003/04, and we did not move forward. I have a feeling this time we will.

On a side note, I remember in the 80's a Man U team who had a half empty crappy ground, and were mid table fodder...... Look how that snowballed! Ok always a bigger name, but still.

You like to live dangerously don't you.

Wait until Turkish and the other bully boys see that you have written 2 positive comments about the future. Don't you realise that is not allowed on a "mong" board.

I bet one of the bright sparks mentions man walking on the moon.

I thought Sting had retired from touring, but no, he's in concert down in scabby dhabi on 14th March

over 1100 sold today according to online system, just under 1000 left now, would think it will sell out before the weekend if sales continue at current rate

I was down the ground yesterday lunchtime and there were a few people buying then , a couple of Poles in front of me were disappointed as not allowed to buy tickets as not on the database which they were struggling to understand. I reckon this will sell out in next couple of days which is impressive. if Liverpool manage to get through against Zenit there could be a few people looking to sell with game moving to a Sunday.

They were getting the highest attendances in the league still.

Liverpool will do very well to get past Zenit.

They concede at Anfield tonight they will need at least 4 goals.

i still wouldn't be surprised, Zenit have had the winter break and do not travel particularly well, an early goal for Liverpool and they could do it, managed to put 5 past Swansea last week.

It was Swansea's reserves, to be fair

just had a look online , this game is virtually sold out now with just single tickets dotted around and some in back row of Itchen chapel corner.

They'd won the European Cup and numerous domestic trophies by that point, we've won the JPT so I can see the similarities in your comparison.

Can't seeing us getting anything from this game. A thumping 4-O win to the Scousers I'm afraid.

Could you see us getting anything if we were playing Eastleigh at home this year??

Liverpool game now sold out more than 3 weeks in advance, wonder how many more we could have sold?

I think we've missed a massive opportunity to sell all those tickets for a tenner a pop, like they do in Germany.
