So on the OS his role is shown as:

 

International Football Development Manager: Radhi Jaidi

 

However what does this actually entail? I understood that he was forging links in African countries. Does this mean:

 

- Setting up football academies

- Increasing awareness of Southampton football club

- Identifying talent (although he isn't defined in the scout area of the staff profiles)

 

I would be interested to hear an end of term report on the progress he is making/what initiatives have been set up.

He's largely coaching with the U21s but he has some overseas contacts - esp Tunisia so is probably keeping an eye on talent. No disrespect but I'm not sure what this sudden obsession is with fans demanding reports on the inner workings of the club, like we are all are quailified to say whether they are doing a good job or not. NC is doing a pretty good job overseeing the various arms of the club to ensure we have a good profile and a good recruitment process. Radhi is just one of several hundred cogs in a very big wheel.

He has gone quiet on twitter of late esp on saints related stuff. He has been asked if he still works at saints but hasnt replied.

A lot of that has to do with the vast amounts of French colonisation in Africa and a more relaxed view on Work Permits?
