Thedelldays Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 (edited) Now to be on sky Either the Sat or Monday night game if Man U get knocked out by madrid we will be on Sat 6th April - 1245 if united go through, we will be on Mon 8th April - 2000 Edited 13 February, 2013 by Thedelldays
Saint Charlie Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Isn't it either the Saturday 12.45 game or Monday?
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Grr...would rather 5:30 on Saturday or Sunday. Mondays are very annoying to get to and want a day on the beers !
Appy Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Got a feeling United will squeeze through and it will be on the Monday.
pingwing Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Got an all new reason to cheer on Madrid then!
This Charming Man Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Fingers crossed Madrid do the business then. My initial thoughts were that I wanted a Saturday kick off but having seen your comment on my status, I'm desperate for a Monday night KO now.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Does this mean that it's our only game thats got moved for sky between now and the end of the season ?
Pamplemousse Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Does this mean that it's our only game thats got moved for sky between now and the end of the season ? I think our home game with Chelsea is on a Sunday for SKY
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Sorry, yer that had not already been announced.
stevegrant Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Does this mean that it's our only game thats got moved for sky between now and the end of the season ? It's the only one in April. We have 3 games in May, and Sky/ESPN won't make a decision on those games for a while yet.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Ah right fair enough. Was hoping for a 3pm KO, day out on the beers and a racket in the away end! Lunchtime games are always subdued
Appy Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 It's the only one in April. We have 3 games in May, and Sky/ESPN won't make a decision on those games for a while yet. Depends where we are really. The Stoke game will only be chosen if we are in deep trouble on the last day. Wigan Vs Villa is pretty much nailed on for the last day.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Hopefully Reading vs West Ham will be just as big! Would love West Ham to be needing a win to stay up!
Lets B Avenue Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Hopefully Reading vs West Ham will be just as big! Would love West Ham to be needing a win to stay up! What are you on? Surely everyone knows that there is as much chance of Man Utd getting relegated as West Ham.
ant Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Just seen that adult ticket prices for Reading's own fans are £40-42 for this match - by the time you've added on a booking fee and cost to drive up from Southampton that makes it equally as expensive as buying a ticket for Newcastle AND travel with Saints Away. Not best impressed.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 £40-42....Christ! How much did we charge them? They won't sell that out at those prices. And they want a 40k stadium?!?
St Chalet Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Monday night please. Will work in Reading that day, straight into the pub, bus to Madeski, stumble home with 3 points.
Saint_clark Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Wow, over £40? Think I'll be giving it a miss then.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Why would anyone prefer it to be on Monday night?!?
Sour Mash Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Why would anyone prefer it to be on Monday night?!? Night game better than a boring lunch time kick off.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Can drink Saturday morning though, can't drink on a Monday night due to work!
Griffo Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Why would anyone prefer it to be on Monday night?!? Those of us that do nothing can get p*ssed up all day.
Toomer Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 They can change West Brom at home to the evening of Friday 26th if they want so I won't miss the game Mrs T & I are off on a 14 night cruise on the 27th.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 They can change West Brom at home to the evening of Friday 26th if they want so I won't miss the game Mrs T & I are off on a 14 night cruise on the 27th. Wishful thinking! I have a feeling it's only football league games on on Friday nights?
Saint Garrett Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Those of us that do nothing can get p*ssed up all day. Ah makes sense. Tad jealous!
once_bitterne Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 They can change West Brom at home to the evening of Friday 26th if they want so I won't miss the game Mrs T & I are off on a 14 night cruise on the 27th. It's always been a mystery to me why people would want to spend their holiday on a ferry. It's a mode of transport for getting to a holiday destination not one in its own right. Still, given the high chance of picking up a stomach bug, it's a good way of losing weight......
pingwing Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Can drink Saturday morning though Nothing beats a cold can of beer at 9am!
sotonjoe Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Monday night please. Will work in Reading that day, straight into the pub, bus to Madeski, stumble home with 3 points. Ditto.
de-fence Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Sunday night please out of the two. Enjoy knowing the weekend's other scores before our match
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 For **** sake, another great away day RUINED
Shroppie Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Why would anyone prefer it to be on Monday night?!? Certainly not me. Can get the early train Sat, Mon means a long drive.
Berkshire Saint Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Really keen for this to be on the Monday night. On a stag do in Barcelona that weekend (getting back on the Monday) and obviously this is my most local game as well. Would be the first league game I've missed since Arsenal away if I can't make it!
Dr Who? Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Was there not a saints foundation cycle to this one? Going to have to get their arses in gear to get there for a lunchtime kick off!
eelpie Posted 13 February, 2013 Posted 13 February, 2013 Just seen that adult ticket prices for Reading's own fans are £40-42 for this match - by the time you've added on a booking fee and cost to drive up from Southampton that makes it equally as expensive as buying a ticket for Newcastle AND travel with Saints Away. Not best impressed. And if the match date/ time is changed (depending on Manure's fixtures) after you've bought a ticket and you can't make the rearranged time, you've lost yer money!

Big jolly from the Maidenhead saints it is then
dubai_phil Posted 14 February, 2013 Posted 14 February, 2013 Saturday lunchtime means 16:30 kick off here. Barasti (The Official Home of Dubai Saints) is about the only Independent Beach Bar in town. So at 16:30 the bikini clads are heading off the beach to have one for the road before heading home. It is Sooooooooo distracting...... But helpful if it is a krap game having something to watch. As for a Monday night game. FFS kicks off at midnight and ends at 2am on a work day. So that won't happen C'mon Jose sort your boys out for the 2nd leg

terrasaint Posted 14 February, 2013 Posted 14 February, 2013 Big jolly from the Maidenhead saints it is then Are there many Maidenhead Saints. My Daughter is moving there with a new job at the end of the month and she is a Saints season ticket holder?
niceandfriendly Posted 14 February, 2013 Posted 14 February, 2013 argh, come on madrid. a monday night game will mean a 4am kick off on a work day, and I will have to get up and watch it. no choice.
saints_is_the_south Posted 14 February, 2013 Posted 14 February, 2013 Very pleased. In Rome that weekend, so Saturday means I can find a boozer to watch it, Monday means I'm back in time to make the game. Win win.
Berkshire Saint Posted 14 February, 2013 Posted 14 February, 2013 Are there many Maidenhead Saints. My Daughter is moving there with a new job at the end of the month and she is a Saints season ticket holder? Never come across too many, no. Although I did spot a car around the corner from my house with a Saints car sticker the other day!
Hayling Saint Posted 14 February, 2013 Posted 14 February, 2013 My Son is a massive Saints fan and works in Maidenhead, lives in Burnham
