That has made my day. That's entertainment!

me too, to say i'm delighted is an understatement. I was gutted for the lad as from my seat i could clearly see that the balls had crossed the line at the same time and felt he'd been robbed. I was tempted to write a strongly worded email to the club about the travesty of justice but i was worried i might get "illingworthed" so decided to keep it to myself. this really ruined the day for me on saturday and overshadowed the win against Man City which felt hollow after i witnessed this. so imagine my uncontolable joy when i saw that the club had acted swiftly and decisively to right the wrongs of this situation and come up with this pleasing response. round of applause to all involved.

Ever since I missed twice, in a santa suit, and celebrated before I shot, I have not been able to watch it! at least I got on sky sports, match of the day and in the metro paper ;)

You should be proud of your finest hour!!! If that was me I'd watch it repeatedly, LOLing at myself time and time again at just how wacky and funny I could be. I seem to recall you bragging on here before your moment of glory about how it was all a bit laugh and you were going to have fun, well you certainly did that and you also provided us with a the second best comedy half time moment of the season after the dancing dog. Just think when people come through the drive through at your place of work wearing saints shirts you can proudly tell them you were the fat one dressed Father Christmas that missed two open goals in a half time relay. Be proud of what you've achieved, don't be ashamed of it. :D

Seems to me the rule of the game was to run outside of the pitch outside the corner flags? The white team, due to being behind throughout, constantly ran inside the white lines and cut the corners. So, call me a stickler for abiding by the rules, but I declare the white team to be disqualified, and the RED team to be the winners. The little fella should get the vouchers.

If the GB relay team ran outside their line, they would be disqualified, right. These offenders should have their season tickets withdrawn, not encouraged to cheat. :D

(All the above is written with a wry grin, people. It's only a bit of fun, I know.)

Nice that the music being played in the background has reverted to the Benny Hill tune - truly a reflection of the deep history, heritage, and culture of Eastleigh.

Genuinely, this is good half time entertainment though. Long may it continue.
