Kingsland Codger Posted 12 February, 2013 Share Posted 12 February, 2013 My daughter has sent me a few video clips of a family event and I am trying to view them. They are all MPGs. I am using Windows Media Player on a laptop using Windows 8 and although I can hear the sound, I cannot see any picture. I suspect I have other programmes available on this laptop but Windows Media Player appears to be the default. I have no particular favourite programme - I just want one that works. I am hoping it is simply a matter of clicking on a button and everything will work fine ... Any ideas?
Liquidshokk Posted 12 February, 2013 Share Posted 12 February, 2013 Probably missing a codec for that particular type of mpeg. Download vlc player as that has pretty much every codec you'd need built in
