110_Persaint Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 Is this what the premier league has come to? Bog-standard football.
Thedelldays Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 (edited) We have also been god knows worse It's my theory (and many others) that this season is a poor league compared to the last few years These are the what 7th and 8th placed teams? Matty's Caddy Posted 11 February, 2013 Author Share Posted 11 February, 2013 Shocking decision from the ref to give the pen. When you think how Rodriguez was assaulted on Saturday That was definitely an anfield penalty

trousers Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 @premierleague: FULL-TIME Liverpool 0-2 West Brom. Late goals from Gareth McAuley and Romelu Lukaku secure the Baggies' first #BPL win of 2013. #LIVWBA

Dr Who? Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 Bloody hell, man of match has to be Foster!
pap Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 I watched this with the missus. In fact, I think I actually saw more of this than she did. Liverpool were unlucky to lose that, but we've seen 2-0 wins like that again and again. Late goal puts a team ahead against the run of play. Team goes further ahead as the opposition stretches itself to equalise. Was never a penalty, so justice well and truly done on that front. I genuinely feel Liverpool's fortunes might improve if Luis Suarez spent more time playing than falling over. Fk knows how Luis Enrique is getting a game on that evidence. pap Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 Oh, btw. Both Foster and Lukaku impressed. The former had an absolute blinder, including a penalty save, while the latter looked genuinely frightening running at players, and took the second goal well. pap Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 I doubt Suarez won any new friends tonight... He's becoming a joke, and it's a shame. Made such an impact on arrival, for all the right reasons. Fecked it up on, off and on the pitch. Needless too. He should be taking a leaf out of Cristiano Ronaldo's book. Bulk up and get stuck in, and much less of this hitting the floor like a sack of spuds routine.
Window Cleaner Posted 12 February, 2013 Share Posted 12 February, 2013 Incredible the way Liverpool just fell apart after their missed penalty. Mind you having an old donkey like Carragher in central defence can't possibly help. Rodgers has got that all wrong.
