No loss, I could do his job in 10 mins. First Team performance this season:

Was cr&p, scored lots but lets lots in, entertaining but could not hold onto any leads. Then improved slowly and stopped defending like muppets. Scored a few less. Got a couple of decent results. Too many draws but some were against top 5 teams. Then had a change in manager. Hustled and pressed teams much more. Defended badly a couple of times. Lots of plaudits but not many more points. Then battered Man City. All is well.

Actually took 1 minute. Easy.

MLG is off of twitter too

He hasn't been seen since:

#saintsfc spent over £35m on players this season, the last game saw them outplay Man Utd at Old Trafford with 21 shots. Yet people still complain.

We might have to bring Turkish in for questioning soon.

who needs a first team performance analyst anyway, just another snout in the trough. Since the change of manager it's pretty evident that the players are capable of more than they were before so everything connected with the old regime should be swept

out.

Reckon he's going to need a big broom to sweep this lot out:

Naive of him to post something work related and somewhat private, or another over reaction from those in charge?

Perhaps he's suddenly found faith and put himself up for the Vatican job.

Or has been actively interested in the Papal position the whole time. He may be there right now, talking about Catholicism's magnificent catchment area.

Stopped posting the same day as the "Matthew Youngman" thread.... :suspicious:

I'm not sure if I'm following the thread correctly, but if we're intimating that Matthew Le God's real name is Matthew, then I wonder if he meant the "Le God" part to be homage to Le Tissier or simply a piece of self-analysis.

What does the 'Academy GPS Analyst' do? which is the 64th job listed in the link above. Some what below the job of 'Academy Mini Bus Driver' of which there are three 43rd, 44th & 45th in the list.

I read somewhere, possibly here, that MP isn't big on analysis, but more on instinct. Anyone else?

I read somewhere yesterday that Pochettino is massively into the analysis and also does stuff like half-time video presentations - or at least he has done.

I'm guessing they take all of the data from player positions during the match and analyse it to produce a breakdown of a player's position during a match, the distances they have travelled, how much is sprinting, and so on.

Both, silly risking his job given all the reports about Cortese's drive and general involvement and obvious desire to minimise Adkins' name in relation to Saints at the time as seen from the Everton programme, but also the sort of thing that could be easily overlooked.

if people go on Facebook, or twitter or whatever, they really should consider the eventual consequences...especially if they are trying to " make news" or be contraversial.

it may be fun to read, or question someone, but does it REALLY matter. If they were doing what they're paid for....they'd be too busy to write such stuff.

Best advice - forget it and get on with the job.
