Bearsy Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Not sure, he left after a few on here consistently took the **** out of him. His twitter feed has been deleted as well - odd one. oh is that tru? i assumed he was just on his lols or whatever. Hope he comes back!
Guan 2.0 Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 What a surprise, Lawro tipping us to lose 2-0. LAWRO'S PREDICTIONS We asked for your thoughts on Lawro's Premier League predictions this week. Agree or disagree, you can have your say using the hashtag #lawrospredictions
Bearsy Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 I'd like to comment on the 13 wins he's predicted for qpr this season!
100%Red&White Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 The last post on that thread - "we're taking Europe seriously (Europe, Southampton fans is where you go abroad and play other teams for all those reading from Saints Web) and feel our squad is up to it." Do the Geordies not know of our infamous Europa League run of 2003-04? I think Mr gtomlinson hasn't quite understood your tongue-in-cheek remark, you have a response..... "Restark19....of course we remember, it's in folklore that UEFA Cup run. Your brave one round appearance with the ginger whinger in charge. I fondly remember your Cup Winners Cup season of 76/77 beating the giants of European Football...Carrick Rangers" BTW Mr gtomlinson, we got knocked out in the quarters after having Anderlect on the ropes until the mighty Jim Steele f*cked one up, second division side then too!

Clueless.
Raging Bull Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Not sure, he left after a few on here consistently took the **** out of him. His twitter feed has been deleted as well - odd one. Cheers, don't blame him really.

In fairness he's predicted we would have 23 points by now - we only have 27 so not too bad. Take away the Man C game which nobody expected us to win and he's 1 point out from 100%

Olallana Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 In fairness he's predicted we would have 23 points by now - we only have 27 so not too bad. Take away the Man C game which nobody expected us to win and he's 1 point out from 100% He is also only on 23 correct results out of 260 games. I´m better than that on our fantasy league here at my work....have to this date 35 correct results, not that I want to be bragging about it......
Olallana Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 he's tipped us to lose every game since ponch took over. you mean, since that guy "noone has ever heard of" took over??
Wilf Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Didn't Newcastle knock us out of Europe once (on away goals)? Also they beat us in the final of some anglo scottish cup (after we beat Rangers over 2 legs in the semis).
Saint-Armstrong Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Mauricio Pochettino: "Shaw and Ramirez are being considered, most are 100% ready to play. But it is down to me who starts." "We might play the same team from Man City, but we pay special attention in training and I am not afraid to make changes." "The players are happy with double training sessions and taking well to it to improve themselves."
Saint Garrett Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 @SouthamptonFC: MP on Newcastle: "They are a dynamic team and their recent signings have helped them to play with pace and power." #saintsfc
Saint Garrett Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 @SouthamptonFC: MP: "The reality is that we are near the relegation zone, but we are looking to get maximum amount points from games that remain" #saintsfc
pingwing Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 I'd like to comment on the 13 wins he's predicted for qpr this season! In Lawro's world a team with Sean Derry as captain should be pushing for Europe...
Thedelldays Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 full squad then can see shaw coming in to start with ramirez on the bench the biggy, does lallana start...if so, where..?
Dalek2003 Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 full squad then can see shaw coming in to start with ramirez on the bench the biggy, does lallana start...if so, where..? Does that include Fonte ?

Saint Charlie Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Lawro predicts teams at home to win 2-0 apart from against top 6 teams. Standard.
Saint Garrett Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Sounds that Forren is ready then as well. Ready to start ? Not so sure, needs to earn his place in the side. Seems pointless signing him though, if he's not better than what we had before!
Born In The 80s Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 ____________Boruc____________ __Clyne__Fonte____Yoshida__Shaw _______Cork_____Schneiderlin____ Puncheon____Ramirez____Lallana___ ___________Lambert____________ for me. So you would drop Davis and Rodriguez?? Did you watch the ManCity game? Or Wigan for that matter? Ramirez should be no way near the first XI and Steven Davis should be one of the first names on it. In Davis, Cork and Morgan we have a midfield 3 that can control the game against most sides in this division. It does amaze me how Ramirez gets into so many people's teams. Baffling really.
Bearsy Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Rodriguez has to play for me. The bit o pace he's got is v.useful.
Thedelldays Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Does that include Fonte ? yep although, I would think he wont even make the bench..been out for a while my team.. Boruc Clyne Forren Yoshida shaw morgan cork Puncheon Davis Rodriguez Lambert subs. davis hooiveld richardson/fox lallana ramirez mayuka JWP

Been so long since the City game I forgot who it was who played. I stand corrected mate - Davis and JayRod in my lineup. Drop Ramirez and Lallana.
saints-cris Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Whoever plays, our bench is guna be pretty useful
Bearsy Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 I won't really feel we're premier league till we've got £25m sitting on the bench.
Saint Garrett Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 I won't really feel we're premier league till we've got £25m sitting on the bench. Hope we start with J-Rod, Forren, Gaston, and Mayuka on the bench for your sake Bearsy !
Jimmy_D Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Looks like Tim Krul is a major doubt for Newcastle after the Europa League game, ankle injury apparently. Haven't got a clue who their backup keeper is at the moment.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 I would guess Steve Harper - he is a fairly decent keeper but no Tim Krul.

Tokyo-Saint Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Last tweet was in January and was around the time of his keep posting the same thing meltdown. - spent over £35m on players this season, the last game saw them outplay Man Utd at Old Trafford with 21 shots. Yet people complain!

sydenhamssocks Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 yep although, I would think he wont even make the bench..been out for a while my team.. Boruc Clyne Forren Yoshida shaw morgan cork Puncheon Davis Rodriguez Lambert subs. davis hooiveld richardson/fox lallana ramirez mayuka JWP If Forren is what we hope for, then this is currently our strongest starting line up . Davis suited perfectly to the Poch' way and JRod is like new and improved signing . Should be a good day !
100%Red&White Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 some guy called "gtomlinson" on that toon forum was just comparing us with Barcelona! I think he is getting a bit ahead of himself but it is v.nice to read these comments from opposition fans. gtomlinson also puts us and "giants of european football" in same sentence. gtomlinson i should say is certainly v.impressed by southampton. Either that or all the walking round with no shirt on has got him a headcold. He certainly aint got the hang of you yet Bearsy..... "I see that SaintsWeb has taken my comment out of context. I didn't say Southampton were like Barcelona. I said the way their fans were going on you'd think we're about to play Barcelona. They are an average PL side (much like us at times but with a worse squad) Whilst they are massively overachieving this season by not being relegated already, we are massively underachieving" http://www.nufc-forum.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=48797.30

It's v.annoying when people don't have courage to stand by their opinions of southampton being better than barcelona.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 gtomlinson is a confused man. He will be correcting your speech indediments, spellin and gramma soon bear. It's like he don't even know you!
Tokyo-Saint Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Oh thank god! I was worried cause I said you died in a data processing accident, then you disappeared and I thought that maybe you had died - like a premonition. Anyway, I am happy you are alive. When will the data update for football manager be out?
Jimmy_D Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Rob Elliott Yeah, looks to be, altho could be Harper. Their fans seem to think he's had a couple of good games, but is generally nowhere near Krul in terms of ability, pretty shocking in fact. Hope Rickie has his shooting boots on!
Tokyo-Saint Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Simon Pryde @SimonPryde Tim Krul's ankle injury will keep him out of action for 5 weeks. Rob Elliot to make PL debut v Southampton. #nufc #totalsport

Tokyo-Saint Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 Dumb bear, it was a minute of corrections and facts they had planned, not silence.

Tokyo-Saint Posted 22 February, 2013 Posted 22 February, 2013 That's ok bear, I corrected you in his honour. By the way, your oh should really be an Oh and can you please post a video with each reply or at least a link as a mark of respect.
