Window Cleaner Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 OMG, I dont know what was worst there.... The Goalies (dont wanna try to spell his name....) slippery hands or missing that sitter from Weimann.... has the goalie got a shirt with short sleeves? SNSUN Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 Jaaskeleinen (sp, but at least I tried!) should have gathered. Weimann should have scored. A let off for West Ham, and all the teams around Villa. I hate West Ham, but they have my support today, I'd accept a draw.

saint si Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 No idea what result I want today. We're only 3 points behind West Ham, and they still have to come to SMS, so I'd say they are very catchable. But that the same time, putting daylight between us and the bottom 3 could be so important...

Saint Garrett Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 Villa are absolute toss. WHU are not much better. And didn't someone on here....(TDD I think?) said Jaaskeleinen is a better signing than Boruc? Jaaskeleinen is poooooor, and has been for a few years now. Hence him barely playing last season for Bolton.
Dr Who? Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 Draw, then west ham, then Villa win. The start villa wanted really, wasted. Would fancy them more away at the moment. Good results at Swansea and Everton, where they should have won both. At home so much pressure.

Saint Garrett Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 I don't understand the hype about Diame really either. He's just big and gets stuck in, reminds me a bit of Viafara, in that he'll make some great tackles but then just gives the ball away straight away. Skill level isn't great though, never was but he's made the best of his attributes and made a career for himself against the odds.

ToreSF Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 Villa are pressing, but haven't created any chances apart from that incredible sitter in the first minutes. West Ham are terrible. Think we'll finish above both.

Window Cleaner Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 Well he was very heavily linked with Spurs and Arsenal in January...thats quite a lot of hype. agent working over-time I expect. If either had wanted him then I guess he'd be there. The 3 million buy-out clause was just agent bollix as well, it's from the end of the season and was never possible in January. Agents you see, get em hooked thinking he's cheapish, get them to persuade themselves that they really need him and the have to fork out 7 million which is far too much and the agent gets a big payday. Agents need controlling.

MOSaint Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 If Villa can't win this one, they've had it IMO. WHU are one of the worst away sides in the league and in a bad run of form. Kind of game you have to win when you're fighting relegation.

Had a good few wins at the start of the season. Had a bit of momentum first few games. Now teams have sussed them out. They also don't let in many so they pick up draws/
