That was the most complete performance for me.

I did think the Spurs game, but let's be honest, they were crap back then.

Best wins as in scores, I was advised in another thread that this is the first time we have beaten the current champions since moving to St Marys.

For nervous excitement, which is generally the second half, I offer Sheffield United after Stern John marched, Norwich and Camara, all Skates games, and yesterday.

Best win at St Marys, and frankly best win anywhere for a long time, purely in terms of the performance. Apart from the lapse for the Citeh goal it was almost the perfect storm, and this despite the referee doing his best after the first 10 minutes or so to let Citeh get back into it. I have never seen us make a decent opposition look like utter utter chumps. There may have been matches that meant more or had better atmosphere but that to me was about as good as it has got for many many years, and I think there is more to come. The change in the way we play since before Christmas is quite startling.

It's certainly up there. People say the 4-0 v spurs but as has been said they were a midtable side in those days. The Arsenal 3-2 win will take some beating as that was a great Arsenal side with the likes of Berkamp, Henry, Pires, Viera and Campell in their prime and we also had to come back from a goal down to win that one. Difficult to choose between yesterday and that.

Pah - you lot are small club mentality :p - bigging up occaisional wins against the 'big' boys?

Feck em , time to loose that sense of inferiority - media thinking we can do a Swansea FFS? Like Swansea should be our aim? Bo llocks to that - if we are still feasting at the top table, lets try and get served first - aim as high as possible.;)

Best win as SMS is still to come...

Weren't United defending champions when we beat them at SMS?

For those that say "Spurs were a mid table team back then" etc, doesn't matter. We absolutely ran that game from start to finish and murdered them live on TV. It was a superb performance. Yesterday, for me, just beat that because of the intensity.

Just watched the game back on sky plus! Commentators mentioned it was almost a full decade since we beat the champions, aug 2003 against united! So yes your correct if they are.

Also made me smile when on 88 minutes the ESPN director clearly turned down the crowd microphones as we were at full volume 'OWTSGMI'.

Also like the praise they kept coming back to, with keegan, barnes and known almost embarrassed for talking about city all the time!

Norwich 4-3 just cos of the atmosphere.

Pompey 3-0, Pahars scoring that absolute peach.

Southampton 5-0 Chelsea (in a few weeks time) ;)

Definately the Norwich game for me the atmosphere was unreal!!

And Arsenal when we beat them 3-2.

Great game yesterday. Loads of others have been mentioned like thrashing the skates a few times and THAT Norwich game. Also, beating MK Dons 3-2 when 2-0 down. That was a massive result in our rise from L1.

Norwich 4-3 is still the outstanding match I have been to. It had everything in terms of end to end and that final goal from Camera was the perfect end. And the atmosphere was electric. I really thought at the time that would keep us up too.

It's all relative of course but we were spectacularly good the day we thumped Huddersfield 5-0 in our first season in league 1.

A couple of days after we'd hit 5 past Walsall, that was a fun week.
