The OP made the point it was the best atmosphere at SM for a long time and it was! You're the one analysing it.

In the Kingsland, unless it's silent elsewhere you seldom hear the away fans singing (or the Itchen). I've been in the corporates a few times and you struggle to hear the Northam from there. Elias Posted 10 February, 2013 Share Posted 10 February, 2013 Cite fans only seemed to wake up in the last fifteen minutes. Otherwise they just looked shell shocked, don't blame them but that thread on their forum about their support is bizarre. Their support was better when they didn't expect to win every game. Our support was good, more of the Kingsland getting involved. Heard better when we were in League One, but it was very good.

dubai_phil Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 Dell Days will be livid when he finds out he's being 2 timed !! Comment on Saturday evening, if we keep growing down here we'll soon have as many fans watching on the big screen as SIT in the Northam You are banned by the way. Supersub Andy is now mandatory at all games and visiting one shandy too many Paul isn't allowed to end his holiday until we are mathematically safe from relegation (Oh that's not forum Paul that was holiday Paul) But seeing we are at the Marina perhaps we need some Red Flares for the next game. Tried looking in Karama but could only find 3 button Baggies
saints triumph Posted 11 February, 2013 Share Posted 11 February, 2013 Atmoshere is improved when songs are sung longer and slower ie. OWTHSGMI for instance. Gives more time for the rest of the ground to wake up. I was at the Chapple end and at times it rocked.

Simply astonishing.
