The culture of internet message boards is such that a very vocal minority get a disproportionate amount of attention. It may only be about 6 or 7 out of the couple of thousand registered users we have who wrote off those players. Most people just had doubts, which isn't unreasonable. Afterall you don't get stuck down the bottom of the table without quite a lot of suspect performances from a number of players.

I agree but my point of being written off is the quotes like... such a waste of money, he should never play with us etc that has been going on..... It´s more than ok to criticise for me, but there is a difference in what words you use for the criticism....

TBF if everyone held back on posting an opinion about how bad they thought a player was/is for fear said player might improve thereby making the opinion look stupid, there would be a lot less activity on this forum.
