Mauricio Pochettino's City Reaction

Mauricio Pochettino:

"Everybody was great. Thank you so much for your great support. You vibrated the stadium."

"The key is all the work we put into it, and into all the matches. Today it has come together and the result has arrived."

"A victory only comes if you believe. But everybody here at Southampton believes. Today we believed. We should always believe."

"The most important thing for me is that we now have two weeks to prepare and recover, and get the injured players back for Newcastle."

"If Sir Alex sends me some wine I would be very grateful, but he doesn't have to if he doesn't want to!"

That was in response to a question from Solent's question on the Sir Alex bottle of wine rather than any spontaneous wit on Pochetino's part by the way. Don't want you to think we've got Argentina's answer to Wee Gordon.

I heard the interview and am slightly concerned by the translation. In answer to one question he clearly mentioned [ presumably performances and results at] Manchester United and Wigan, yet there was no mention of either in the translated reply. So, can't rely on each reply being accurate.Unless the translator edited out "yes its good to beat those c^nts, especially after not beating those other sweaty, plebby Lancastrian pie-eattting f^ckers at Manchester United, and Wigan..."

I've noticed this actually in a few of his interviews. The translaters clearly aren't getting across some of the information very well. MP actually corrected the guy once in the pre-man city press conference. Wonder what else we are missing! Where's the next Jose Mourinho when we need him.

I am sure this is exactly what he said

I remember when Mourinho arrived on the premier league scene at Chelsea, he immediately positioned himself between Ferguson and Wenger, with his comments and personality. And he was right to do it as he was a winner. Is MP doing the same? After the last 3 games, I'm feeling good about it.
