shurlock Posted 30 March, 2013 Posted 30 March, 2013 Agree, actually thought Shaw also had a weaker match compared to normal. Cork lost the ball dangerously in a couple of bad areas and wasnt as complete a performance as against Liverpool or City. That's what I thought - similarly, I thought Shaw had a dodgy first half -Moses had him rocking at times but he improved in the second.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 30 March, 2013 Posted 30 March, 2013 IMO it looked like he was trying very hard to get one over on his old club, which led to him trying to take on one too many players a couple of times and was epitomised by him taking a wild shot from 30yards when he had options either side. Was still decent otherwise though.
Saint Garrett Posted 31 March, 2013 Posted 31 March, 2013 The passion was oozing out of him yesterday. He wanted to win so badly and understandable why. Him and Morgan are incredible.
Leicestersaint Posted 31 March, 2013 Posted 31 March, 2013 Cork made some mistakes but overall he is very good and creative.
Saint Garrett Posted 31 March, 2013 Posted 31 March, 2013 I didn't really see many mistakes from him. 90% pass success and won 100% of his tackles...
VectisSaint Posted 31 March, 2013 Posted 31 March, 2013 I didn't really see many mistakes from him. 90% pass success and won 100% of his tackles... Did that include the rugby tackling? Played ok yesterday but was trying too hard at times. I thought it was an average game for him. His shooting is a disaster.
The Kraken Posted 31 March, 2013 Posted 31 March, 2013 I didn't really see many mistakes from him. 90% pass success and won 100% of his tackles... He didn't make many, but the ones he did make were unnecessary. Tried to nutmeg someone in our own half and gave it away, and a couple of other needless errors. First half we were sublime and played through our midfield brilliantly. Second half, Kelvin seemed to love a lump upfield and we stopped doing that and the game passed us by a bit. I think JC is a great player, and vital to us; but I wouldn't put his performance yesterday up there with his best others from this season.
