Jack Cork was immense in that half... Yoshida on fire too... So nice to see Puncheon back so confident... If Saints hold onto this, there's going to be a dramatic shift in opinion about us. "Beat City. Best opposition seen by MU. Playing a form of high-speed football unique in the premiership. Top 6 side."

I think we'll lose 3-2 :(

Lose from here, and it will only crate more questions about the way we play, but no points to show for it! I do not think I can stand that. 3 points, please please please.

Big second half here, worried we'll drop off the amount of pressing weve done but Punch and J-Rod can get at them on the wings

Fear is if we concede another they'll be over us

Agreed mate, for this league well out of his depth but its not his fault we didn't strengthen that position at any point since we got promoted from the Championship.

Made one goal, got caught up field at a corner for the City goal - can't be everywhere. Need to support him or he will get worse.

As City made that final attack 35 seconds + after the injury time was up in the first half, I just watched the referee continue with the game until the ball ran to one of our defenders. At this point the ref lifted the whistle to blow until the ball went back to a City player, the whistle was immediately lowered until the ball was lost again to a saints player, where upon the ref blew up. Either time is up or it is not. It should not depend who is in possession of the ball. Now most of what the ref has done in the first half is subjective and a matter of opinion - that passage of play is not. If anyone gets a chance to review the game then look out for it. Something should be done because that without a shadow of a doubt is cheating.

Morgans was never a pen as he had a handful of the city players shirt and lost his footing.J Rod was one of those that on a good day you get....But we are still up, playing well. Cork and Yoshi been fab..And J Rod has impressed me too

dulldays....u really are a f***** wet blanket aren't you? bet you never get laid in your life - always moaning and complaining and 95% of the time completely wrong. Saints have been outstanding with one stupid mistake and we should have had a penalty yet still your moaning carries on.

Why don't you go and get a life? Your constant whining is pathetic!

I'd happily take a draw now. Still a bonus point.

Not on the same scale but exactly the same happened in my son's away game today....the home team were 2-1 down and time was up....we were in possession and the ref went to blow for full time....just then the home side got possession and the ref let play continue until their move broke down.

Why do MOST refs do this?

I didn't notice the details like you did, but my spidey senses told me that it was really weird waiting for the HT whistle.

You would have to be very brave to give that. Not a pen for me, not quite enough. Lets keep this a physical sport!

no attempt to play the ball, clearly decided to bring the player down with force.
