Roger Posted 9 February, 2013 Share Posted 9 February, 2013 Matty was getting annoyed because Merson and Thompson said we would get ripped apart playing like that. Again Matty was really positive about us.

DJ_TOAST Posted 9 February, 2013 Author Share Posted 9 February, 2013 Thanks for or thanks to Adkins? right just rewound it Lambert: "everyone involved in the club appreciate everything what nigel done, what he's done in 2 and half years is unbelievable and he's helped deliver most of our ambitions, our dreams we will never ever forget that and will always be thankful. Lallana: "it's a ruthless sport and he isn't the first and won't be the last manager to get sacked probably unexpectedly ,youve just got to get on with it new gaffer come in hes been really good and hes getting his own tactics accross, we went abroad to barcelona, kind of in his environment, and we had a great time and good bonding, and off back of that weve had 2 great performances, we've obviously got to keep that up and got to obviously keep that up for this saturday against city. the gaffer is getting better day by day and to get the message accross is just really 1 language in football, you understand everything and in terms of training its never a issue at all and its kind of good fun we're learning a bit of spanish aswell, it breaks the ice when get to know each other its been really good.. Lambert: we play a high line we press em in front and think thats the biggest difference in what you can see straight away but think all the rest of it our attacking play its **cant understand scouse bit** he lets us use our imagination on the ball were understanding more each day what he wants to do but biggest thing is closing down, the pressure, the tempo. the stakes costing us alot of times which cost us at beginning of season we beenn very good lately just last couple of games cost us something need to stop straight away which we been doing in training. lallana: its vital against big teams we take chances which didnt do against utd and prob looked like another comfy home win so against city at weekend we gota make sure we're ruthless all around pitch, in defence 3rd and set plays cause theyre big team but whoever we play against were always confident gona score goals. lambert: on 100 goals. be very nice, but not paying much attention to, may look back to when older but just want points. lallana: it being 1st season know in dogfight but with out performances know we can get 2/3 wins in row and confident we're gona be comfy end of season. >> right back to beer
