Hard to tell if there are any serious posts left here now...try to spot them amongst sarcasm and wind ups.

hey nick, I know you think we are on an unstopable march up the league and to Europe...but in reality we are getting a little closer to the relegation place..only won 1 in 9 (which will be 1 in 10 today) and will probably be in the relegation zone after our next game..when will we win another game..?

tick tock

As terrible as this forum claims Aston Villa are, there is a good chance they will be level on points with us tonight. We are very much in a relegation battle and its about time some of you clowns accepted this.

that is what saddens me....

villa have been nothing short of utterly terrible this season....yet they are just 1 win from us (which could well be made this weekend)

Reading are the same and are only one point behind us. Most of their 'fans' I know say they just get battered for 80 minutes and then suddenly wake up...

Really think those winnable home games against Swansea and Norwich are going to come back to haunt us.

Stop worrying bedwetters. West Ham are being dragged into it and are as good as down. And Norwich. And Fulham. And all those other teams with more points than us.

Each entitled to their opinion, and football has surprises so who knows how it will end.

To say we are definitely down is clearly ridiculous. But CB, To be fair to say we are nailed on for 12th (has anyone said that?) Is equally ridiculous.

Dell days - in the autumn, writing off several players, you said we would be so far adrift in January that we would be effectively relegated. Wouldn't it be more fun to learn from your negativity, realise you tend to be downwardly unrealistic in your predictions and enjoy the realistic hope of survival or even a bit better?

Your tick tock post was very skate like. Is that how you want to come across?

Have I ever said we will be in Europe sometime soon? No.

I have said all season, even at our lowest, that I think we will stay up, and be safe before last weekend. The season isn't over. We could finish bottom. However, currently

mine are much more realistic than your predictions were. I don't think 12th is impossible, certainly wouldn't bet on it.

Turkish - does anyone deny we are still in the relegation scrap? I agree would be a clown to think that.

League table shows we are not miles ahead of Villa, however we are 3 points ahead. In November they were 2 ahead of us. It can change quickly, either way, but to make up 5 points, when we haven't done great isn't too promising for them.

Cheer up, when Arry arrived we were only 4 points ahead of QPR now we are 7!

You are entitled, of course, to your opinions. Neither of us can, or should say, as fact how things will turn out. (Certain 'bedwetters' continual provoke arguments by stating opinion as fact). However, the 'bedwetters' (your phrase) have been proven time and time and time to be very unrealistic.

Surely it isn't much fun, supporting saints, a hobby, if its so depressing?

That's killed time waiting for my nipper!

Can't wait for today's game.

I bet you one million pound Villa will not be level on points with us tonight.

Apologies for repeating just stuck this on the build up thread but guess it should have been here

I'm still smirking........

Oh FFS why can we never hold onto a lead?

What the hell is he doing with the team selection?

He's not a Premier League Centre Half he just plays hoof ball, my mum could be more effective.

He's useless, all that money for a superstar and he's a one trick pony who goes missing in games.

:lol::lol::lol:

Oh how nice it is to listen to Spuds supporting Son In Law watching his lot play live football...

Question is Bale becoming the best player ever to come out of saints?

probably....although his time at spurs has probably had a greater impact on the player he is now than his time with us

he is arguably one of the best players you will find that play off the front man....

absolutely incredible player..

Actually if you take away the 6 points we got off them they are 3 points better off than us against the rest. However you forget our terrible start and this is the reason why they are still in touch we have overtaken a significant points lead against most of the bottom teams gained against us over the first 10 games or so! If we are to continue our recent form we will pull away safely!
