aussiesaint20 Posted 5 February, 2013 Share Posted 5 February, 2013 Don't forget to join up with us at 'Southampton Australian Supporters' we've grown from a team of 80 to 240 in the last year and recently had our first interstate trip. Six Melbourne based Saints fans went to Adelaide for the weekend and joined up with around 8 local supporters for the win over Aston Villa. We're hoping to extend the SAS family as far as possible and continue with annual trips like these. There's also good quality banter, news, videos and possibilities to find Saints fans from every corner of Australia. If you don't want to give away personal information on FB but still be involved, set one up and just add no personal information but your first name and state, then join the 'Southampton Australian Supporters' group and nothing else. Look forward to talking to people on there and seeing you at future events! Trevor

This Charming Man Posted 19 February, 2013 Share Posted 19 February, 2013 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Southampton-Australian-Supporters/188516634508187?fref=ts I'll be over for the Perth and Melbourne tests later this year. Any other Saints going to be in attendance? Also, would any Australian based people be able to help with tickets? Only after 2x for the first 3 days of either test. This Charming Man Posted 5 March, 2013 Share Posted 5 March, 2013 I can help with tickets for the Melbourne test, just remind me in October. Will do, cheers. I've also decided to do the Sydney test as well now. Also, I will be after 2x five day passes now for the last 3 tests of the series. Many thanks! Kingsbridge Saint Posted 6 March, 2013 Share Posted 6 March, 2013 I wouldn't bank on any of the Tests lasting 5 days. The Aussie cricket team is shocking. They have the Chuckle Brothers opening and the Krankies at 3 and 4. Clarke is decent enough and Wade and Henriques can be stubborn but the tail is **** too. They can't bowl decent spin or swing and the pace, Pattinson and Siddle, meh. England are going to thrash them big time. Twice.

Though it would still work out cheaper to get a 5 day pass and there only be 4 days play, wouldn't it? Imagine we'll have the grounds to ourselves come the 3rd day if we are humping them. aussiesaint20 Posted 3 April, 2013 Author Share Posted 3 April, 2013 Get down to your state's live Aussie Saints venue for the match against Reading! Take advantage of a friendly kick off time. The following is taken from the 'Southampton Australian Supporters' facebook page: The numbers of our SAS group have almost doubled in the last two months so in combination with an EARLY kick off on the 6th of April we will be hosting a live event in every capital city(sorry Tassie!) for the Reading match. It will be a great chance to meet up with other Saints fans from your city and watch our beloved Saints at a reasonable hour! Events in every state will be starting two hours before kick off to allow for plenty of time to talk all things Saints. So if at all possible get down early to share a pint/s with fellow Saints fans. Each venue also serves food for those wanting to have dinner pre game. Family and friends more than welcome! But sorry, no skates. KICK OFF TIMES FOR EACH STATE: Perth 7.45pm Brisbane 9.45pm Adelaide 10.15pm Syd+Melb 10.45pm VENUES FOR EACH STATE PERTH: The Charles Hotel Address: 509 Charles St, North Perth WA 6006 BRISBANE: Pig 'N' Whistle Riverside Address: 123 Eagle St, Brisbane QLD 4000 ADELAIDE: Rosemont Hotel Address: 160 Hindley St, Adelaide SA 5000 SYDNEY: PJ Gallagher's @The Criterion Hotel Address: 260 Pitt St Cnr Park Street Sydney 2000(in the downstairs Bar called 'The Snug') MELBOURNE: The Imperial Hotel Address: 2/8 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000 WEAR red and white, bring a loud voice and enjoy watching the Saints on a big screen with fellow supporters.
