No idea, was a message. Not allowed to say anything, club policy. Sounded heartbroken more than anything.

 

Yeah he must have been annoyed because there probably isnt another U21 game for a few months.

 

Hopefully just a knock.

Doesn't sound like a knock to me. Season ending injury more like. A pity, as he is vital for us. Milner will run rings around Fox - if he is anywhere near in the right position that is, which he normally isn't.

Maybe we will find out in the pre-match press conference, seeing as the club have been slightly more open than usual with the injuries to Fonte & Guly.

Well actually, on pre-match conference they always said it with Adkins too, but of course only if the player would miss that particular game and nothing more.

That´s the difference now if the player is to be out for longer time....

On the match preview it says fonte and guly still out with clyne Ramirez and shaw to be assessed. I'm hoping this means all 3 of their injuries aren't serious :-/

Well he was about to become the youngest ever player to appear for the England U-21s. I think a 17 year old lad is entitled to feel a bit upset about missing out on that.

Or they could have a morning off due to the internationals last night?

 

Why? If they didnt play (most of the squad) then they wouldnt need the morning off.

 

Anyone who did play would be doing different training today anyway ie recovery sessions.

2nd youngest, Theo is the youngest ever player (about 150 days younger than Shaw would've been if he played) and youngest ever goalscorer. Pretty sure Theo also holds the records at U17 & U19 level too. Sorry to be a pedantic b****** btw....

I don't know why but I know it happens. Beattie et al used to always go to Ikon and Diva on a Wednesday night, when I spoke to him about it he said that they always have Thursday mornings off. That was under GH. The players do usually work on Saturday, almost every week. Add to that training on Mondays, the odd game on Tuesday or Wednesday, I expect there is a team meeting going over the next match and travel on Fridays. They need another day off in the week, Thursday seems as good a day as any.

You might be right, I don't know. how do you know the filming is done on Thursdays? When do the players have their 2nd day off. I guess with training they need a day off every 2-3 days of training/playing. Sunday being one, Wednesday or Thursday make sense being the other.

I'm already there but they have blocked my usual peepy hole so can't see whats happening.

 

Did just see MLT and Frannie walk by in Balaclavas though.
