Barry Sanchez Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 I thought someone was smoking that funny stuff, I am naive though.
Crowds Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Not my thing, but it never hurt anyone so who cares?
Stepgar Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 This is the same lot that started singing SCUM ARMY, oh dear. Face palm thingy.
The Majestic Channon Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 God forbid lads should go to football together and try to have a laugh and create an atmosphere.Lets all be dullard boring modern fans .
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Most of those were the ones causing trouble by that bridge after too, certainly the fatty in the red jacket. Pathetic really, sure at some point he will mouth off at the wrong person...
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 God forbid lads should go to football together and try to have a laugh and create an atmosphere.Lets all be dullard boring modern fans . You can create a cracking atmosphere without setting off an embarassment of a smoke bomb or falling over seats.
Thedelldays Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 You can create a cracking atmosphere without setting off an embarassment of a smoke bomb or falling over seats. why is that an embarrassment...? letting off a smoke bomb..?
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 why is that an embarrassment...? letting off a smoke bomb..? You could barely see the smoke. Im sure Wigan fans were well impressed.
Thedelldays Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 You could barely see the smoke. Im sure Wigan fans were well impressed. who cares if wigan fans are impressed...?
Saint Garrett Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Got no problem with smoke bombs personally. Adds a bit more to the support.
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 who cares if wigan fans are impressed...? What was the point of it then? Most of ours fans couldnt see it so it hardly improved the atmosphere? When you watch that video what do you see? I see a bunch of wallies tbh that I would not really like to be associated with! Personal opinion of course.
wokingsaints Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 half of you lot on here would only be satisfied if the crowd was like a theatre crowd and clapped politely at the intival. the lad are just a few barmies on a beano trip. at least they enjoy themselves rather than looking like misrible old men
Tomobz Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 What was the point of it then? Most of ours fans couldnt see it so it hardly improved the atmosphere? When you watch that video what do you see? I see a bunch of wallies tbh that I would not really like to be associated with! Personal opinion of course. When smoke bombs get set off it always gets the crowd going. I think they're a decent addition to the atmosphere
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 half of you lot on here would only be satisfied if the crowd was like a theatre crowd and clapped politely at the intival. the lad are just a few barmies on a beano trip. at least they enjoy themselves rather than looking like misrible old men Most of the best away atmospheres this season and last have been based on good loud singing not barely visible smoke bombs and 'lads' falling over seats...
Thedelldays Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Most of the best away atmospheres this season and last have been based on good loud singing not smoke bombs and 'lads' falling over seats... they looked to be singing very loudly to me
RedAndWhite91 Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Oh yes what a disgrace, I'd much rather everyone sat down in silence, would be much nicer. A lot of the songs yesterday were started by this lot, how dare they try and get an atmosphere going at an away game.
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 they looked to be singing very loudly to me Quite possibly. So why do they need to act like cavemen too pushing people over seats etc. How does that add to the atmopshere? Bunch of wannabe Danny Dyer's IMO
Thedelldays Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Quite possibly. So why do they need to act like cavemen too pushing people over seats etc. How does that add to the atmopshere? Bunch of wannabe Danny Dyer's IMO just having a laugh and spicing things up....
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Oh yes what a disgrace, I'd much rather everyone sat down in silence, would be much nicer. A lot of the songs yesterday were started by this lot, how dare they try and get an atmosphere going at an away game. Indeed, how dare they. I wanted to sit in Silence like the Theatre.
Saint_clark Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 No problem with the smoke bomb, some of you lot need to lighten up. However...why do they feel the need to stand as close as possible to each other in one or two rows and then shove each other about?
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 No problem with the smoke bomb, some of you lot need to lighten up. However...why do they feel the need to stand as close as possible to each other in one or two rows and then shove each other about? Just lads on an away trip. Bantz.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Indeed, how dare they. I wanted to sit in Silence like the Theatre. The sad thing is, I bet you're telling the truth. Lighten up. It is just a load of mates having a laugh at an away game. What's the problem?
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 just having a laugh and spicing things up.... Yeah Im not that bothered really, was a decent atmosphere yesterday and I could smell the smoke although couldnt see it from where I was. The lad behaviour does make me laugh though, especially the old guys. All part of footy I guess.
Saint_clark Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 just having a laugh and spicing things up.... "Spicing things up"? Is that a nicer way of saying inciting violence, as I know a lot of people who would turn round and give them a smack if they started trying to push them over the seat in front of them. What a f*cking idiotic thing to do.
Tomobz Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Fair play to them, just a group of lads having a laugh. I bet they added a lot to the atmosphere unlike the people who sit down with their arms folded discussing whether Ramirez is worth £12million or not and moaning about the noisy lot up the back singing
miserableoldgit Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Out of interest, what would the remarks be like if that bit of video had been posted as Portsmouth fans at an away game - not singing "Oh when the Saints" obviously. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk 2
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 "Spicing things up"? Is that a nicer way of saying inciting violence, as I know a lot of people who would turn round and give them a smack if they started trying to push them over the seat in front of them. What a f*cking idiotic thing to do. If I had been near them I would probably have just found another area where I could watch the game and sing away from them. Each to their own.
Saint Charlie Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Fair play to them, just a group of lads having a laugh. I bet they added a lot to the atmosphere unlike the people who sit down with their arms folded discussing whether Ramirez is worth £12million or not and moaning about the noisy lot up the back singing Again, missing the point. To create a good atmosphere it is not essential to shove people over seats.
ericb Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 The push each other over is probably just cause they've had a few beers and your balance tends to go by match time. Seriously i don't see the problem, bunch of lads out on the **** having a laugh. There really are some miserable old gits on here if you think that's a problem!
Bearsy Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 I'm glad they had good time! It's nice that they have something.
Turkish Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 A few familar faces in that video! I was stood not too far away from that area. The smoke bomb looked very good.
Turkish Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 This is the same lot that started singing SCUM ARMY, oh dear. Face palm thingy. What's wrong with that?
sambosa75 Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Never knew Billy Mitchell was a Saints fan.
Bearsy Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Never knew Billy Mitchell was a Saints fan. Lol! Seems to have lost a few teeth.
swannymere Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 I wish i could be a lad like that, garnering the respect, fear and envy of all the other fans whilst knowing they admire my casual clobber and secretly want to be me.
Dr Who? Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Oh to be young and have run at away games like that..... The time has gone Fair play to them.
red&white56 Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Would love to see it but it's been removed!
Rut Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Thought someone said there was no atmosphere there yesterday? This looks pretty good to me. The funny thing is - play this video to a lot of fans of foreign teams and it would be 'yeah, so what? at our ground the whole end is like that for every game'.
View From The Top Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Being down in block 4 row F I had no idea anything had gone on further back.
Red and White Russ Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 Would love to see it but it's been removed! You didn't miss much. Set of mongs jumping up and down and grinning, thinking they are being extremely humourous.
Stepgar Posted 3 February, 2013 Posted 3 February, 2013 What's wrong with that? ?? So you're happy to consider yourself scum then as I don't and don't wish to be. Screaming scum army is hardly supporting the team is it? I thought the words were Red army. How mis educated I am. All I could see is that they are attention seeking yobbos who think they "all that", when they together but individually wouldn't say boo to a goose. I am up for a good bit of banter with the away fans and I will always make sure I support the team but to basically admit I am scum... No chance. I why would I? I can only assume these people have r very low self asteem. I Quite sad really.
