11 more points for me....

13 from 13 for me. About enough to finish fourth/fifth bottom this season.

No idea where the points will come from, suffice to say 3 more wins and four draws, leaving us able to afford six more defeats.

Thats a heck of a lot more than QPR can afford.

Can only assume soem of you worriers are youngsters - we had this annually throughout the 90s virtually' date=' always a buttock clenching run in... if we get through it this year, I can see it being less of of a problem next season.[/quote']

Yep a young 38!

Not many seem to think that we will go down, and this is good, and I am one of these.

I am though a little worried that we are not winning enough games, and why we are pretty poor in the first half and look a op team in the second. Also a factor of our 2004/2005 season was throwing away leads late on, which we have done at Stoke and Wigan.

If you look at the facts.

1-3 up at Stoke and only took a point

Out played arsenal, but only took a point

Outplayed Everton but only took a point

Outplayed Man U in the second half and had the lead, but got noting

Now outplayed Wigan, and they get a late point.

This is 5 games that we should have got more than we did.

As I said I am really happy with the way we can play, but what happens when we do not produce this form? I know the forest relegation team where always told that thy played football the right way, but lets face it lads we need wins. I was gutted yesterday, and even though my 4 year old is over it, I may need until this evening.

I am hoping we over run Man City and take all 3 points to relieve some pressure at the bottom. But how late do we have to go in front o hold on.

I am a little worried, but have had some tough matches. I look at march and April as the time we could and should pick up wins. Losing is a bad habit, but so is drawing, when wins are what you need, and what the game is about!

Looking at the remaining games I'm finding it difficult to see us getting much more than 39 points all of which meqns a bit of a nail biter

And so you think QPR likely to get 18+ from last 13 games, say 6 wins (after 2 wins in first 25)?

Yep, 6 more - not blowing us away as you thought....reckon will finish closer

West Ham are closing in on Liverpool, not worried about us.

After all, they're only six points behind which is suddenly insignificant in your little world.

Shove your money down.

The bookies say we're 65% likely to stay up.

If I thought something was "virtually certain" and the odds were 2/1 against, I'd put a fortune on it.

I'm a fan, I'd never bet against Saints

What were the odds when Lowe appointed the Dutch duo ? yet any experienced Saints fan knew what the outcome would be.

Hahahahhaaah - before NA was sacked' date=' how many points did most expect from Everton, Man U and away at Wigan? Seriously - some see to now be rewriting history and think NNA would ahve gotten us 6 or 7 points.... Jeez.Seems prrtty darn clear to most that we are playing BETTER than before. NA built seriously good foundations and did a fricken brilliant job. MP seems to be building on that - we survive and BOTH will deserve credit. We go down and BOTH will be accountable - MP can not gain us points we lost in the first 22 games.... Under NA we lost at HOME to Wigan remember?[/quote']

We are playing good football but not winning football, and this is still the honeymoon period. The players now have the handicap of a rookie manager and new methods to absorb. If we did stay up the players would take enormous credit

From all I've read about Pochettino and the pressing game, it was suggested we would take time to absorb this way of playing and would likely have some really dodgy results early on before finally picking up some important wins as the team learned how to play his way. It seems to me the team have clicked into it pretty quickly, even with some hard games, and hopefully the best is yet to come.......I'm actually surprised how the team have responded as I thought the heart might have been taken out of them when Nigel Adkins was sacked the way he was. All credit to the lads, and also the manager and coaching team.

The odds were pretty bad back then as I recall.

Although, it was the admin that finally sealed it, I think - not just the poor performances on the pitch.

I have no problem betting against Saints - it doesn't affect the result.

I'm an optimist. Not only are we presently 3 points clear of the drop, but we are playing well.

And this is the difference from our relegation season when we were losing and playing badly. Yes we're still in the mix, but I feel more confident with this squad than I did with that one.
