Cortese and Le Tissier arrange meeting

Up and down the country ex pros do a stint in the corporate suites and every one of the gets paid. When I went to Highbury before the FA Cup final we even had Gooner mad Stupot!!!! from Grange Hill give a few words with our lower echelon clock end corporates!!!

It's standard and accepted business practice. I know a lot of ex pros also give their time for charity events, but schmoozing and corporate work for their related clubs is not done for free.

Is the next logical step is to ask Dodd to forego his wage??

I realize that, um, and I don't have a problem with it.

I'm just saying that we shouldn't get too carried away with this "Benali should be treated better because he loves the club" thing when some of his commitment has been purchased. The loss of that income appears to be one of the reasons why he's mad at Cortese - and, if they've suffered the same fate, could well be one of the reasons why MLT and Lawrie are right behind him. That's all. I'm not knocking them, just suggesting that this could be part of the rationale for where we stand today and a reason to keep a more open mind about Cortese.

I'm not sure what you mean by the Dodd question - he isn't, as far as I know, taking public runs at Cortese.

Terry Paine scored 11 goals ....in his first season in the (then. Div1).

He actually completed 8 seasons in the top flight ...around 320 games and scored a total of 38 goals.....PLUS about 100 assists to Ron Davies (I should think) ...though it might have been more.

Yes and 11 is the most he scored so what's you're point. And le tiss was the assist king akways top of the opta index.

Mlt was on Talksport as I was driving in apparently he knows some stuff bout Cortese and when it comes out everyone will know how bad he is! Why has MLT never mentioned this before???

And why doesn't he say what it is..?

I think it will be stuff that has nothing to do with football..

I'm hoping it has nothing to do with football. If we aren't being run properly and will end up like Pompey in a few years then shouldn't he just say what he knows? If nothing to do with football then keep quiet
