ericofarabia Posted 1 February, 2013 Share Posted 1 February, 2013 FAF .... David Beckham is "donating five months wages to the starving and malnourished". Lovely man, putting his wife before himself.
Bearsy Posted 1 February, 2013 Share Posted 1 February, 2013 It's a tax dodge. With massive tax write-off from charity donation DB7 LTD won't have to pay UK taxes on all their lovely sponsorship deals. Source: I just made that up. Feel free to spread malicious rumours on twitter tho!
Tokyo-Saint Posted 1 February, 2013 Share Posted 1 February, 2013 I pretty much thought the same thing, there was no mention of his massive signing on fee or the sponsorship deals yesterday. The whole thing is a massive PR stunt anyway. I doubt he is even good enough to play for us any-more let alone a chanp league team. Maybe for 15 mins and do a bit of a Scholes but that's it. He didn't seem to know much about the charity either or name it, "my salary will be donated to a eh erm local erm charity at the end of the day". sadoldgit Posted 1 February, 2013 Share Posted 1 February, 2013 Clearly there are no deserving causes in this country that would benefit then? What a crock... Just more self publicity by one of the most overated players in the modern game.

How about a Becks Beret?
