TK8267 Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 http://www.s24su.com/forum/index.php?threads/confirmed-jonathan-forte-signs.29124/ Certainly Seems they are excited by him.........
pingwing Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 Owwww I was hoping they didn't already know all of that and it would be an interesting surprise for them... At least he's another one of those players almost out the door now.
Andre Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 your problem now (although never really a problem for us i suppose)
wireframebox Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 Another team struggling to come to terms with 'their level'. League one is a cruel mistress.
saint1977 Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 Some harsh comments on here. Forte got those two crucial goals v MK and chipped in the following season in a couple of League Cup games where he started. He also did very well at Notts County but seemed to have less impact at Crawley for some reason. Good L1 player but not NPC and not PL.
Colinjb Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 Forte is certainly fast, we've got to hope the other parts of his game have been improved. Yeah, about that.... Will always be an extremely random cult hero for the MK Dons game though.

Had a brilliant 2 minutes against MKD but the rest of his time, even at that level, was completely forgetable.
Bucks Saint Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 Spoke to my good mate last night (blades fan). They know his limitations well, as Forte was one of theirs some time ago. May be an asset at L1 level but if they go up, don't expect them to seek a permanent deal!
Saint Charlie Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 He wasn't good enough to make Crawley's first IX most of the first half of the season so Im sure he will be poor for Sheff utd. Seems to have zero confidence in himself, the most softly spoken footballer Ive ever heard interviewed. He almost sounds embarassed to be a pro.
leithsaint Posted 1 February, 2013 Posted 1 February, 2013 wonder if he will get any minutes in their match against coventry this evening.

Do they only have a 9 man squad in the lower leagues then, should give him plenty of extra room to utilise his pace. Hero for pulling it around against MKD apart from that very anonymous.
