  1. 1. Will we stay up?

We have definitely blown it and relegation is a nailed on certainty.

1. We failed t properly prepare in the summer and left big weakness in parts of the squad.

2. The sacking of NA is ridiculous and weakens our chances of staying up.

3. We have shown an arrogant complacency in the Jan transfer window.

Please, can the three people who are making every thread painful with their silly teenage jokes stop?

Please, its getting really dull

You have to help us that are wondering. When did you get so positive and cheerful about the team?

I remember you as a pessimist but something has really changed....when and what changed you??

We have to win games like tomorrow. Also slightly worried about the amount of draws we have been picking up. If everybody stays fit then I think we will stay up. Any injuries to Clyne or Shaw and I fear the worst; the lack of depth there is worrying.

Need a win tomorrow, if we can't beat Wigan then we're simply not good enough, too many recent positive performances haven't yielded enough points. Our run in is quite favourable, can easily see us getting 6 points from the final 2 games. 6 points also needed from the home games against QPR, Norwich and West Ham. Added with a couple of draws that should be enough, could well go down to the last game though.

Do you say this just because you don't agree with him? This is a discussion board, so let ripple discuss.

No, I'm not 100% sure we will stay up - no problem with anyone having genuine view.

Just the three or so posters putting their joking opinions for reaction gets dull

it is the 'drip, drip, drip' effect.

We had a great chance to kick on in May. However, our preparation for the autumn in terms of strengthening was half hearted and badly balanced. We were lucky to get away with it before, but we won't this season.

We are at best a 'yoyo' cub but I reckon most likely shaping up for a mid table championship club aka Watford style.

Worse than that, I'd thought.

I agree relegation is now a nailed on certainty, that's why I have put £10,000 on it at 13/8 with the bookies...which is basically £16,250 of free money come May.

I think you're insanely optimistic to believe we can replicate Watford though. They are resurgent.

The most likely outcome is that we will hover around lower reaches of the Championship, before dropping back into League One after a season or two. (Probably with a ten point penalty by then, as well)

4/10.
