Saint Charlie Posted 31 January, 2013 Posted 31 January, 2013 Both well deserved - we do have a promising squad.

TK8267 Posted 31 January, 2013 Author Posted 31 January, 2013 Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC This is @Luke_shaw3's first Under-21 call-up - he had previously been capped at U16 and U17 level. Well done, Luke! #saintsfc
pingwing Posted 31 January, 2013 Posted 31 January, 2013 I like this thread more. I also love the news! Good news for England's U21 team and both the lads!
RedAndWhite91 Posted 31 January, 2013 Posted 31 January, 2013 Both deserve it, both have been excellent this season.
Andre Posted 31 January, 2013 Posted 31 January, 2013 Both brilliant players, well deserved. Future full team internationals.
Avenue Saint Posted 31 January, 2013 Posted 31 January, 2013 Brilliant. The future is looking bright.
sandwichsaint Posted 31 January, 2013 Posted 31 January, 2013 Excellent news for them and massively deserved. Shows how well we are doing, we're starting to be competitive with the rest of the league and with other teams that have squads where most of the players are full internationals and a large number of those players have European or tournament experience. Two of our regular starters haven't played at u21 level yet, brilliant stuff. If anybody wants to look it up: how many Prem lge teams have fewer full internationals in their squads than we've got? Maybe Norwich or Reading? Sunderland? Villa? Who've we got? Boruc, Yoshida, Forren, Davis, Myuka, Ramirez ... that's 6, is there anymore?

Bearsy Posted 31 January, 2013 Posted 31 January, 2013 Might go watch the game as it's up this way. Reckon they'll start?
