Weston Super Saint Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 It does if you change it to : blog/fuelpriceincrease-106.html... It says : The lovely VAT reduction for 13 months will be offset by a PERMANENT increase in fuel duty of 2p.
Saintandy666 Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 Meh, it's about time we stopped relying on petrol and cars etc anyway, It's gonna all run out soon... If sales of petrol decrease to a certain extent companies will be forced to seriously look into other alternatives. Anything that speeds up that process is just in my opinion. But from an economic point of view, the increase after the decrease has to come from somewhere otherwise we will be screwed for money in a few years time, where would you prefer it to be, if not on fuel, remember it has to raise a certain ammount of cash... Where are they going to get £36bn of tax revenue from! anyone!!! Edited 26 November, 2008 by SOTONS EAST SIDE
Franny's Tash Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 Why do people constantly refer to 'the motorist' as if they were some kind of distinct oppressed minority? People who drive a car. That's you, me, and most of the rest of the country.

Mole Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 I agree with the Tories in that Labour have blown our money from the good times ad left nothing for a rainy day, but i can't bring myself to vote for cameron as he's a slimy as Lowe. A protest vote from me coming up not at the next general election.
