Saint Martini Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 According to AS he is. Banco de Santander is going to sponsor Ferrari from 2010 and theiur CEO claims that Ferrari promised him Alonso from then on.
Ponty Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 Maybe, maybe not. Surely it depends on Renault and Ferrari's relative performance in 2009 as much as anything else. After all, he's signed for Renault until the end of 2011, albeit with a performance clause in our 2nd year option. Fact of the matter is, if we give him a good car he'll stay and if we don't, we arguably don't deserve a driver of his calibre anyway.
Saint in Paradise Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 So Alonso is a glory hunter then bet he supports Chelsea or Man Utd
Arizona Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 Hope not, as he will likely be the best driver in the best car and probably win it about 5 years in a row like Michael did. F1 is much more fun when Ferrari have 2 crap drivers.
