Bolton winger target plays in Prem. Your boss has wrongfooted rivals on this one. So let him see it through. Good option to have.

Basically, there isn't one.

From the Bolton News

8:14pm

"OK - exclusive time! Wanderers have signed a winger on loan - Steven de Ridder from Southampton. One month at first, I understand."

Personally, no

But he often makes the bench, but that was during Adams injury I suppose

Indeed, and it baffles me he gets near it.

If he decided one day not to try and beat four men and then attempt a cross, he might be a decent Championship winger. As it is, round one, round two, third closes in, cross attempted, hits defender and is cleared.

Well quite a few periphery players loaned out, only real squad player out seems to be De-Ridder.

Wonder if we will get a surprise? Probably not doesn't seem to be anything in the offing.

and now with Barnard out on loan the only one I have questions about is ...Danny Butterfield, because I think Chaplow will be with us a bit longer.

If we pick up a few injuries now I think we could be in big trouble as we do not have enough quality back ups imo in the full back and winger positions. Our 1st team is excellent but I can not believe we have not brought a couple of players in on loan as we are only 3 points above the relegation places and could still easily get relegated if things go against on injuries, suspensions or loss of form. Our plan for the next few years would then be intatters as I am sure all our young stars wouldn't hang around in the ccc.

I am very hopeful we will still be ok but I do think we are taking a pretty big risk which I find baffling when a new manager comes in and then doesn't bring anyone in even though we know about 7 or 8 of our 25 man squad are not of premiership quality at least!!

Is he any good?!

Lee Chung-Yong missed an entire season with a broken leg last year (partly why Bolton went down), I think he's a really good player, good passer and good movement, the sort of guy we generally go for. Would be delighted if we signed him!

Nixon said earlier that Chung-Yong was going no where.

that would complicate the situation at SMS. Apparantly Tadanari Lee (likes to be called Chung) ....and this guy is Lee Chung Yong.

Sounds like something out of the Goon Show ...wasn't it the Ýíng Tong Song......? If we had both it'd be easier to call them Smith and Jones, I guess.

Makes commercial sense too!

Dan from Chilworth, via text: "Strong rumours I've heard from member of medical team at Southampton that manager Pochettino and chairman Cortese want to sign a big name and have offered former team mate Riquelme, who's a free agent, an 18-month deal."
