Dalek2003 Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 At least MP can see who's good and who's bad If i were him id be on the blower HT to Nicola saying we need bladdy reinforcements JRod left wing is struggling just a he did against Man City, he's a striker FFS I would imagine that MP is suffering 'shell shock' Clearly out of his depth.
lloydie Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 MP won't be able to change things around, couldn't understand a word he said on 'Talksport' I love how you can qualify how good a manager is after 1 game and a press conference you couldn't understand. Says more for your IQ than MP's ability. Additionally Mancini could barely deliver a press conference to start with, didn't stop him doing alright.
CB Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Nigels timely sacking has cost us 3 points in just 2 games........ Will it now cost us our prem position? Everton and man u? How many points did you think we would get?
Jimmy_D Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 I reckon Shaw's absence is due to the relegation 6 pointer at the weekend, especially as tonight is such a low percentage game. A loss tonight and a draw against Wigan is arguably better than a win tonight and losing against Wigan. With him being so good already it's easy to forget he's only 17 and won't have the fitness to play every minute of every game yet.
Barry Sanchez Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Not true. The silent majority know I talk sense. Indeed I am the spokesDalek for the oppressed minorityJust run up the stairs SFC...........................
Saint Charlie Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 So, what's your point ? That they have far superior players to us and its no surprise they are winning. They win most of their home matches against far better teams than us. The over reactions are pathetic.
S-Clarke Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Morgan has had a nightmare tonight though tbf.
lloydie Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 I would imagine that MP is suffering 'shell shock' Clearly out of his depth. Massively out of his depth, if only he previously managed a team that had to travel to places such as the nou camp and bernabeau. Oh.
Barry Sanchez Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 But I would of thought our World class players would of shone, not in victory but in a brave defeat at least...........
Viking Warrior Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Rudders not done much tonight . We are missing guly as well
Dalek2003 Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 I love how you can qualify how good a manager is after 1 game and a press conference you couldn't understand. Says more for your IQ than MP's ability. Additionally Mancini could barely deliver a press conference to start with, didn't stop him doing alright. Errrrr....just making the point that the players are probably scratching their heads after every training session and in the changing rooms. No, we are going to be a laughing stock, just like we were when we failed to appoint Hoddle in 2004 and instead appointed Wurzel. Anyway, Chelski score !
Saint Charlie Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 But I would of thought our World class players would of shone, not in victory but in a brave defeat at least........... Which world class players?
Whitey Grandad Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Nigels timely sacking has cost us 3 points in just 2 games........ Will it now cost us our prem position? 5 points, surely?
Dalek2003 Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 That they have far superior players to us and its no surprise they are winning. They win most of their home matches against far better teams than us. The over reactions are pathetic. See you have cleaned your rose coloured specs !
CB Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Rudders not done much tonight . We are missing guly as well Now you've done it. They are gonna be frothing at the mouth about that one
adrian lord Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 I would imagine that MP is suffering 'shell shock' Clearly out of his depth. More likely culture shock - he's gone from tapas and Rioja to greasy spoons and warm watered down bitter.
JoeShmoe Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 May laugh but we still have a chance of a point, they are gash at the back and the keep is a clown so a goal from a set piece and some bloody good fortune and you never know
Under Weststand Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 So 2-1 HT & we are still in it. Can we do another Chelsea.
Thedelldays Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 would have taken 2-1 at HT we are no where near as bad as some would have you believe on here....
Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 United look to be at 60% and they are still completely outplaying us - more desire - more hunger - more passion - more intent - more respect
S-Clarke Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 We're competing to be honest. Man Utd were always going to be better than us, so not sure why people are having meltdowns at the fact that they look better than us. If they switch off 2nd half, we still have a chance. But we'd need them to switch off.
Convict Colony Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Am I the only one having to listen to Gary Birtles, he is shocking, he has no idea and is of the football punditry of "good old plucky southampton", I wish us foreigners could listen to Gary Neville not these idiots who turn up to only praise the big team. Don't think we have played well but we can improve, Utd are playing well already.
Dalek2003 Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 United look to be at 60% and they are still completely outplaying us - more desire - more hunger - more passion - more intent - more respect Yep, and when they get out of their deck chairs we will know it !
Roger Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Morgan has had a nightmare tonight though tbf. spot on.
Thedelldays Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 We're competing to be honest. Man Utd were always going to be better than us, so not sure why people are having meltdowns at the fact that they look better than us. If they switch off 2nd half, we still have a chance. But we'd need them to switch off. because we are a bunch of spoilt brats and have people believing we are destined for the champions league in 3 years...... as long as we dont get smashed by 4 or 5..or dont care....saturday is the big one and as long as chelsea win, tonight may as well not have happenend
Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 5 points, surely? Did u expect a win at United? I didnt but think Nigel would have got a point (3 vs Everton 100%)
Sheaf Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 May laugh but we still have a chance of a point, they are gash at the back and the keep is a clown so a goal from a set piece and some bloody good fortune and you never know Would need to be bloody good fortune. Our deliveries into the box tonight have been appalling so far. No quality whatsoever.
ART Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 What a f* ck ing touchline inspiration MP is. From 2 stooges under Atkins to 5 under MP.
Leicestersaint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Well at least it is only 2-1 - although we have been second best for most of the half. No attacks down the left (where's Shaw?) - we need some pace to taek them on. Morgan has looked awful to me and is now carrying a yellow so could be sent off.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Yep, and when they get out of their deck chairs we will know it ! Full time score prediction?
Dig Dig Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Why are match day threads so full of lunatics?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 What a f* ck ing touchline inspiration MP is. From 2 stooges under Atkins to 5 under MP. Complete jokesville
lloydie Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Errrrr....just making the point that the players are probably scratching their heads after every training session and in the changing rooms. No, we are going to be a laughing stock, just like we were when we failed to appoint Hoddle in 2004 and instead appointed Wurzel. Anyway, Chelski score ! Probably is the key word here mate. Sturrock was different, he was truly just a bit too rough around the edges, didn't wash, etc. MP knows what he's doing, the players will take more confidence from his tactical nous (morgan allayed to this after everton)than lose any confidence from a language barrier (that's not really there anyway)
pap Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Hair dryer treatment + antsy Man Utd fans + cheeky Saints goal(s) = possible points. 45-60 going to be crucial.
Katalinic Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 would have taken 2-1 at HT we are no where near as bad as some would have you believe on here.... I don't think its bad at all considering the opposition.
CB Saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Did u expect a win at United? I didnt but think Nigel would have got a point (3 vs Everton 100%) 4 points? You are mental
latter day saint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Am I the only one having to listen to Gary Birtles, he is shocking, he has no idea and is of the football punditry of "good old plucky southampton", I wish us foreigners could listen to Gary Neville not these idiots who turn up to only praise the big team. Don't think we have played well but we can improve, Utd are playing well already. got the bellend on my stream as well .spanking one off everytime ManUtd put more than 3 passes together. C#nt !
MOSaint Posted 30 January, 2013 Posted 30 January, 2013 Miracle its only 2-1, we have been disappointing. Moving the ball too slowly Wasted every chance to put in a final ball Fox & Rodriguez are shocking defensively down the left United look like they've stopped trying since they scored that second
