pap Posted 30 January, 2013 Share Posted 30 January, 2013 Just been asked what my second team is at the dinner table. I said Eastleigh "because they're local and non-league". "Oh yeh?" the missus asks. "Who did their play in their last game and what was the score?". "I think you'll find out that was Farnborough, darling. Eastleigh beat them 3-1 and currently sit 12th in the Blue Square South". There really isn't that shuts my missus up. This did Cheers again. Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2013 Share Posted 31 January, 2013 Looks like the ACON, same standard of football, same standard of pitch and a few more spectators.
Dr Who? Posted 31 January, 2013 Share Posted 31 January, 2013 Needs more of this all over the country, I would go as far as saying more coverage for u14, 15, 16, & 18's. just locally. At the moment they are lucky to get anything in the paper at all. A round up of the youth games on a Sunday would be cool, and encourage youngsters and would be nice to have people back up all my correct decisions when refing. Colinjb Posted 14 February, 2013 Share Posted 14 February, 2013 (edited) keep them coming Liam. Keeps exiles like me in tune with the local non-league scene. Shame for Winchester there but great win for the Spitfires! Edited 15 February, 2013 by Colinjb
